As a base for us to tour around, it was excellent.

Compared to my last visit 2 years ago, the decor looks in need of refreshing. Sadly noticed mattresses in all rooms were stained, urine? Only noticed when stripping the beds as requested at end of our stay. Although it looked presentable there was a lot of dust, especially in the bathroom where all the ceramics looked in need of a good washing down

Nice place, but wouldn’t stay again.

Beds were comfortable. Oven worked well Useful being close to Lidl Central for visiting north and south coasts

Lack of good internet connection - irritating when trying to watch tv that signal kept being lost. Front bedroom noisy from main road with window open. Bottom bunk bed squeaks. Mattresses are badly stained. No food bin bags, no rinse aid, no soap in bathroom, very little toilet paper. These are basic amenities that we would have expected to be there. No instructions on recycling - didn’t seem to be anywhere to recycle glass. Conflicting instructions between Sykes and Booking.com. Never received responses from the owner to our questions.

Great location for exploring North Cornwall - good access to coasts & cycle routes.

Convenient & comfy. Fairly well equipped.

No hairdryer or ironing board - we needed both as were going to a wedding. Bannisters were filthy & had to be cleaned on first evening.

Clean and comfortable. Well equipped, right down to board games and dvds. Particularly enjoyed playing board games.

All in all a great break taking in Cornwall and meeting up with family living in Bodmin

Key code had been changed prior to our arrival, and no notification sent to us. Very frustrating after a long drive. After a chase around different phone numbers we managed to make contact at third attempt with a human, who rather quickly got us sorted out

The location, facilitities and cleanliness were excellent. We wanted to be in the center of Bodmin and it suited us perfectly. Parking off street was easy and the arrangements regarding the kèy worked very well.

We tried unsucessfully to contact a responsible person, any person, regarding problems with the shower mixer and bath outlet. There was no response over four days and left leaving a note for the cleaner.

Great location, close to amenities…

The location. central to town, close to bars and restaurants. was clean, although we didn’t use the kitchen apart from boiling the kettle, it was well stocked with everything.

check in was too late and check out was too early, as your expected to strip the beds, empty all the bins, and put the towels in the supplied bags. surely you could contact after cleaning has finished to say that the house is ready for check in? change of check in and out was offered but came back within 2 seconds denied. don’t offer it if you have not intention of giving it. TV selection was poor if you didn’t have access to your own accounts.

Superb location

superb location - bodmin had supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. it was easy to travel to other holiday locations and lidl supermarket was only 100 yards away

Another loo. With 6 adults from 2 families with only one toilet/shower room it was difficult embarrassing at times. One loo/shower was not made clear when booking the back door was difficult to lock properly could have done with instructions on how to use the dishwasher and the washing machine an owner/contact phone number in case of emergency or help on utilities would be a very good idea not enough dustbins to dispose of waste and only one council collection on a thursday - was too long a time scale

Great place would stay again

Felt like a home rather than a hotel. All basic were provided and plently of private space. Lidl on door step and town walking distance.

Needs a ironing board although there is an iron. Could do with some spare pillows as well as some new ones. Although generally clean could do with an additional clean periodically to clean additional things windows and air vents. Husband had to hoover bathroom air vent as clogged up with dust and fluff.
