Beautiful cottage and village

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Very clean, lots of space for our party of 6 adults. Kitchen well equipped, bedrooms very comfortable.

Nothing! The one thing which we would add would be a downstairs toilet but not really a big deal.

Very beautiful holiday cottage in Oxfordshire.

I was initially skeptical about the property as it didn't seem to have many reviews but it is genuinely a very lovely holiday cottage, it is managed through Sykes and I believe owned by Manor Properties. All worries were gone on arrival. Beautiful setting and house, with large rooms for all. The village of Shilton is very quaint and near to the popular town of Burford. There are no issues with parking though the off road parking space is quite tight and it's easier to park on the road.

The communication through Sykes and the request for additional payment outside of the booking was a bit stressful. Requests through the message system of booking.com went unanswered. Additionally the request to sign up to another site to manage. I would recommend a pin on google maps (or whatthreewords) as the directions and address are a bit antiquated. More dishwasher tablets, Nespresso pods and the provision of shampoo / body wash / hand soap at the property.

brilliant location and comfort - absolutely recommend!

location - easy access to do many places. modern conveniences - great showers my youngest son loved playing with the dinosaurs (and dinosaur bingo!) nice bedrooms and kitchen comfortable beds and great towels! four generations of family on the trip and everyone’s happy!
