Riad AL RIAD

A very comfortable Riad room. Nicely prepared breakfast every morning. The staff were very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at Rial Al Riad.

We were unable to use the safe as there was a problem with the key.

We were fortunate to have this beautiful riad to ourselves when it has the capacity to host several guests at once. The riad is extremely well set up and the bedroom was very comfortable, contemporary and spacious for the 3 of us and air conditioned which was much appreciated in the Marrakesh heat. The staff were excellent and attentive. In a really central location, in walking distance to everything. A really memorable stay.

I wish I had taken up the host offer to be collected instead of making our own way there. The local taxi service from the train station didn't seem to know where it was so there was bit of hassle getting there and then getting lost wandering through the laneways on foot (escorted by a local pulling a trolley with the bags) looking for the riad. The host did organise our transport back to the train station when we left which was really appreciated. So if the host offers a pick up from the airport or train station, take them up on it!

Amazing location in the middle of the Medina.. Take the offer of shuttle transfer, finding the location on your own will be a challenge. Once orientated that will not be a problem. Vehicles cannot enter the Medina so you will be taken to the gates and met by stafr memberr who will assist with luggage and take you to the Riad. If you don't want to experience the city then go book an Ibis or something without soul. If you want to feel the place then go to somewhere like this. Take some cat food for the locals, they are not in the Riad but are all around :-)

Terrace, interior design, staff and location

Price/quality ratio was off, breakfast was minimal, ground floor room was too noisy
