Never saw the cottage. owner could not provide a address to be Googled and bus driver could not locate it. Owner only provided a video with vague landmarks in rural Cinque Terre. As a result we had to secure other lodging which was challenging. Owners comment to us was “I don’t know what to tell you”.

Unless, you are fit access (167 steps, ok when hiking but not with luggage) is challenging, dishes ie wine glasses, coffee cups etc need improving.

Worst location to choose
Nothing. Was stuck with it as I was desperate to book something due to cancellation. But could not gather the will to live in so secluded place.
Worst location. Not near to anything. 30 min trek to the nearest town. Too overpriced.

Rustic house with amazing peaceful view away from tourists
Amazing spot off hiking trail. Basic Italian house, no frills but everything you need. Hiking lovers paradise! Drink your morning coffee and look out at the vineyards. Ocean view is around the corner- simply walk along terraced ledge. Can walk into cute but busy town of Monorola- or take shuttle bus easily. W even walked back in the dark after dinner happily. But not for people who cannot easily climb stairs and manage on uneven terrain.

The bed frame is kinda old and squeaky, if you barely move the bed makes a lot of noise and it actually does make it a bit difficult to sleep. The bedroom is nice though.

Great place to hunt for adventures in downtown or relaxing at the cottage and enjoying the views.
i think the view and the location was very nice and the town was small and the restaurants had good food as wel.l
the insects outside specially the mosqitoes where a bit more then in Holland.

Superb
Fantastic and warm service. A unique and comfortable place to stay. A little castle of your own, the cottage was a fantastic respite from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail. Great view of the hills from the cottage and only a short walk on a trail to see an incredible panoramic view of the sea. I would recommend more than a one night stay at this wonderful place to really enjoy it!
The cottage is a little further from the centre of Manarola than I thought it would be, but is walkable if you are not too tired from days hiking the trails. We were taken by car to the property though, which we were very grateful for. And the hosts can offer ways to help you get around. I would not recommend this place for someone that has mobility issues.
