Fowey Landing

The property was exceptional, everything you needed for a perfect stay, beautifully clean, beds comfy, superb bathroom & and excellent equipped kitchen. Grateful for the lift, one of our party awaiting a hip operation. A short walk from the centre of Fowey with lots of lovely places to eat & drink overlooking the river/estuary/sea. There is a shuttle bus that runs to & fro the town as well if you are less mobile. Dina & Lee are quick to reply to messages & send all the information you need before you go, excellent service.

Parking is limited but we arrived at the beginning of the Royal Regatta week. The second bedroom is quite small. The beds are quite low to the ground. The sofa bed in the lounge was welcome as a family member popped in & stayed over.

Great apartment with outside space that backs onto a cliff. So although you don’t get sea views, the terrace was lovely and cool in the hot summer weather.

This was our second time staying here as we visited last year so obviously we like it enough to come back. The apartment is exactly as described. It’s very clean and has everything that you could need. The owners are lovely and responded quickly to my message. I had a request which they went above and beyond to try to solve for me, they couldn’t have done more. The apartment is close to some shops and pubs but you do need to venture out by car to see other areas and they are around 30-95 mins out for most. We really like this apartment and would recommend. Parking was easy considering the time of year and it’s cheap at £6.30 for 24 hours in station car park which is a 2 min walk. The tv has streaming services. There is an ice cream parlour next door that serves coffee and a small cafe opposite that does breakfast food and lunch.

I would recommend maybe supplying a fan for the apartment particularly at this time of year for all guests comfort and a new iron as the current one has a burn mark on the bottom and doesn’t smell good. The owner did offer to get me a fan when I asked though.
