Self catering accommodation for explorer.

The accommodation is located next to the Corpatch railway station - the Jacobite steam train passes four times a day. The parking is located next to the accommodation. Very spacious accommodation with good heating. The Co-op is just round the corner.

Some tea and sugar in the kitchen would have been nice. Bathroom rather small.

I would highly recommend staying here. There is plenty to do and the facilities are excellent.

Great location. A stones throw from the railway station at Corpach and the Caledonian canal and only 15 minute drive to the Ben Nevis trailhead. There was a local chippie down the road in the next village and a M&S Foodhall 10 minutes drive away. On a clear day you could see Ben Nevis. We were in the Anvil room which had a microwave, cooker, fridge, fridge, cleaning supplies, cutlery and plates. Everything you need really! The rooms were clean and there was a TV in the lounge/kitchenette with plenty of room to relax. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend coming here if you don't mind being a little further out from Fort William. An added bonus was being able to see the Jacobite(Harry Potter) steam train come through twice a day from the bedroom window. Excellent location for taking the train down to Mallaig and over the Glenfinnan Viaduct as part of the scenic West Highland Line which has incredible views.

The shower room needs a little spruce up. Having said that the water was hot and it was clean.

Amazing location. We got the train to Mallaig from meters away from the front door.

The flat didn't have a huge amount of natural light, but we weren't there to stay indoors, and it was very comfortable.

We had a great stay here recently. It is a great place to stay when wanting to climb Ben Nevis. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful.

Adequate

Would recommend as good budget accommodation for hikers. Lovely views of the Loch and easy to get into Fort William (via own car). The Jacobite steam train runs right past the lounge window too.

The cutlery and pans etc were greasy likely from the previous guests so we had to wash everything on arrival. The sofas were also a bit smelly so could do with a good clean and freshen up. Beds were very soft so anyone that needs a firm mattress should not stay here.

Very good

Large spacious apartment, great for a group or family. 2 bathrooms was really useful as we were a group of 4 friends. Main living area was comfy and a large, well stocked kitchen. Next to the lock and Canal. Supermarket and a pub close by. Clean and comfy beds with plenty of space. Great base for our mountain bike trip.

Could not sign into the wifi and could not get the main fire to work. This did not spoil the trip and would use again if in the area.

TO BE STRONGLY AVOIDED

There was no breakfast

The fitted carpet in the apartment (visible stains). There was a lot of mould in the shower and when we have finally decided to go in the shower wearing slippers, the water drain was completely blocked and disgusting. We ended up staying only for 2 nights although we prepaid for 3 nights. The owner didn't seemed to be bothered about this.

Great stay in a fab location

Brilliant location, basic but clean apartment that met our needs perfectly.

It was great for 2 adults and 2 children but if there had been 4 adults we might have struggled as there were only 2 comfy chairs.

Disappointed

I pad size TV. Bunkbeds, twin beds ti accommodate 4 adults. Fridge not plugged in only found out as owners said not over til next day, didn't come over. Oven unable to operate. Shower tray seemed blocked. Cobwebs in bed room. Only 2 comfy chairs, no sofa.

Location bit only had mountain and water view from one bedroom.
