Idyllic venue, all the food is artisanal made, very friendly staff, possible to charge EV overnight. 5 mins from the Serbian border, ideal for travellers on the go.

Calm stay at the easternmost Croatian town

Very friendly staff, easy to communicate with by phone. Good location, in the center of town. Room was large. For my early checkout they prepared a basic breakfast to go, which was given in the evening, which was nice.

There was a little mold in the shower. The hook for the shower faucet was broken.

Villa Iva is located close to many local wineries

Really nice place. The room was big and nicely decorated. We really liked the inner courtyard, which like the whole village is focused on wine thema. The breakfast was great and so was the dinner we had here.

The comfort of guests is paramount at this friendly, family run guesthouse.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful both in terms of giving us time and information and generous touches such as complimentary sweet and savoury local pastries. We appreciated being in a friendly family run guesthouse. It was much nicer than an anonymous big hotel.

This is not a comment particular to the Vila - it is same everywhere even in the neigbouring countries across the Danube. I like a dessert at the end of my meal but the desserts available tend to be heavy traditional desserts like pancakes or the local Tasci. For me ice cream is something one eats on the street or in a cafe. A lighter cake or pastry dessert option at the end of the meal, although I know it is not traditional would have been appreciated.

Ok for a stopover for one night.

Perfect location and the building is nice.

The room was ok, clean and large, but the bed was a bit rundown. The food was below average. The town in itself is very sleepy. Not much of interest to do.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we entered the main door. They gave us tips on places to see, where to exchange money, buy kulen, which vineyards to visit. The room itself was fine, though the shower could have been a little larger. The breakfast, brought to the table, was generous, though a little short on vegetable matter. However, this was more than compensated for by the establishment's own home-made jam, which was being made in the courtyard as we arrived and was still being produced on the day before we left. The heady aroma of slow-cooking plums thus greeted us on our way to and from our room. We had supper at the Rooms twice, and on each occasion were satisfied... though the omnipresent mashed potato could have been varied a little more. The draught wine from a local maker was the best table plonk I've enjoyed for some time and an excellent accompaniment to the meals.

The shower was a little small, especially in the heat when one really wants to get to one's feet! It would appear that Ilok has no draught beer!

An excellent choice for a cultural/wine visit to Ilok. Highly recommended.

The owner and staff were very professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. The location was very good. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The courtyard was very nicely maintained, and the terrace was a very pleasant place to sit. The food menu was very reasonable.

The bathroom could have done with a shelf above the sink. There was no cooked breakfast before nine o'clock, though to be fair, the cold plate was comprehensive. The choice of house wine was very limited.

Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer in dem hinteren Bereich. Die Fahrräder standen sicher keine 3 Meter von der Zimmertür im Garten. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber.

Sve u svemu, bio je to ugodan boravak s prijateljima i obitelji u prekrasnom Iloku.

Položaj objekta vrlo dobar, osoblje, vrlo ugodono i ljubezno.

U odnosu na cijelu sobu (br. 3), možda je kupaona nesrazmjerno malena, napose tuš kabina. Kreveti su preuski i previsoki, to je stvaralo određenu nelagodu.
