Magical setting in the middle of the woods in a narrow valley, above a loudly babbling mountain stream - a perfect tranquilizer. While we were there, I kept thinking that I didn't need any programs or excursions; just let me sit on the bench at the foot of the house, watching the forest and listening to the stream. The area offers wonderful hiking trails. The house itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, meticulously furnished, and well-equipped; the beds are large and comfortable. One evening, a summer storm in the middle of the forest cut down the power line. The electricity company could only fix it the next day, but the house's battery-equipped island solar system kept the lights on.
A microwave would be nice in the apartments, just to save time when using food from home.
