Privacy, beautiful view and very spacious.

We were lucky and had a villa with beautiful views and all the privacy we could have wanted. The bathroom was gorgeous, the bed comfortable and everything wad clean and spacious. Staff was kind and helpful.

The hill to get up to the hotel was a lot steaper than we expected even from the other reviews. You can rent a scooter there to make your life easier. We used it as excercise. The pool automatically turns on during the night and early morning at ungodly hours.

A true hideaway gem!

Wow, everything about the villa is beautiful! The views are spectacular, beds are very comfortable, lovely bathroom and great living area. The pool is cold but refreshing when you have been sunbathing for a while. It was the perfect hideaway treat for us whilst on our honeymoon. There are plenty of restaurants that deliver to the villa, so we ordered breakfast and dinner to the villa every night. It is so peaceful, no noise from the main area of Koh Tao, staff were very pleasant and the cleaners very quick every morning! We were also blessed with a daily visit from the beautiful local jungle cat, who spent her days sunbathing with us. It has been a welcome, peaceful and comfortable luxury stay - thank you!

The stay of a lifetime

Everything, the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in. The views are like from a postcard. The whole team working here is wonderful, everyone is so helpful and kind from the receptionists / drivers to the cleaners just honestly amazing experience we will definitely return :)

Stunning!!

The property was beautiful, plenty of space, stunning views of Sairee. Great kitchen space. Lovely outdoor area with pool.

Nothing to really complain about, did not realise quite how steep we were up the mountain! Both of us were not able to get to the top on our single mo-per so I had to walk from the bottom which was pretty far.

The most perfect villa & views on the whole island

The view was just incredible! The villa was so luxurious and having the private pool was amazing! The villa is so spacious with a massive bed, massive bathroom with large mirror, shower was also very spacious. The pool was huge with a gorgeous infinity edge looking at the most amazing view. There was 2 sun beds, a massive outdoor couch and even a hammock! Also the cutest cat ever, very friendly! The hosts were so lovely and helpful! I highly recommend booking the tour through them to see the island by boat!

Not a negative comment but just more a warning that the hill to get to the villa is quite a challenge! We didn’t have a bike so that’s our own fault! but we only did the walk down to the Main Street & just got a taxi for the way home!

Paradise in paradise

Everything! This villa was gorgeous and had loads of room! The staff were really lovely. Everything about this place was a dream.

Everything was really great. I think maybe the reception could be open longer, 9-5 only but it wasn't an issue at all.

Overall happy with the stay, but a little expensive for the things that’s added.

The view from the pool was amazing, which you also get from the bedroom.

There was concrete that holds the tiles in place was crumbling and there was small pieces in the pool. Also the glass around the pool could be privacy glass - if people are driving up the hill they can see you at the pool. The old fruit that’s fallen from the trees should be cleaned daily as it leave an unpleasant smell.

The pool villas are just amazing, the view and private pool are stunning, the bedroom is lovely and comfortable. The staff are really lovely and helpful as well.

Like a fairytale – a piece of paradise with unforgettable views!

Our stay at Villa Sunset was absolutely magical. The views from the terrace were breathtaking – every sunset felt like it came straight from a postcard. The villa was clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped, perfect for a romantic and peaceful getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful – we could rent scooters directly at the reception, which made getting around the island much easier (especially after we gave up on walking up the steep hill after 3 days!). Another plus was the option to order food from a restaurant with delivery – delicious food and fast service. During our stay, we were lucky enough to be visited by a local Thai gecko, who made an appearance twice. According to Thai proverbs, when a gecko calls out seven times, it brings good luck. So we’re hoping that means even more good fortune for us! If you’re looking for a place with privacy, amazing vibes, and unforgettable views, this is the spot. We’d happily return!

WHAT A LUXURY VACATION! From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with smiles and helpful hands. The place is an absolute fantasy 🤩 private, luxurious…views you literally dream of. The place is also very well stocked—great kitchen, larger fridge with reasonably priced mini bar items and a SLUE of restaurant menus that deliver! They go through property details with you, the book they provide is thoughtful and detailed. The resort is quick to respond and quick to help! TV is large and comes with a google play, so you can download app. AC works well. Couch is big and inviting. Comfy bed. Big bathroom. Not a bad thing to say!!! 100/10 and we will be back!!!

The road up, like everyone said, is wild…it’s NOT a deterrent or negative thing—but should absolutely be taken seriously!! I suggest using THEIR taxi service (it’s much cheaper anyway!!) and schedule a pick up/drop off with the hotel, cause those drivers are familiar with location and road! I do NOT suggest a normal taxi from the ferry, reach out to the villas and they will help you!

we loved our stay here! the villas were beautiful and very private, we stayed at Treetop which I think was the highest up. with the rain, we didn’t feel comfortable scooting all the way up but there was a very lovely set of stairs to get you there. the space is huge and comfortable and the tv is already set up with Netflix and movies! we loved relaxing at night with the view of the ocean and sairee and the patio doors open. the staff were super responsive and helpful. we would love to stay again!

Dissapointing and would not reccomend.

The view and private pool was great.

We were really disappointed with our stay, although the view and pool where brilliant, the small details let this stay down. The towels were stained and frayed, the bed sheets ripped and with a big obvious stain on the top of the bedding when we arrived. The kitchen did not have a bottle opener and we had to wash every glass and cup before using it was they were so dirty. the safe did not work, we messaged the host on the first day though this was not fixed for the whole of the stay. There was also an ant issue in our room which meant we could not use the outside after dusk and felt uncomfortable sleeping. We also then woke up at 6am every morning because the curtains were so thin so we could not even get a good nights sleep. The air conditioning only worked in either the bedroom or living room which made it uncomfortably hot. Of all our rooms during our stay, this one was really the worst by far, there are better places available locally. We knew the villa was up a steep hill when we booked it, though we also read there was a taxi available. unfortunately to book the taxi you needed to whattsapp or call, which is not possible when you rely on Wi-Fi and don’t have international data for your phone. we ended up just walking which was fine if you are reasonably fit and don’t mind getting sweaty!
