Welcome to Blue Heron Ranch, a stunning, stylishly decorated 3-bedroom heated pool home with a resort-style backyard located in South Sarasota, a stone's throw from Siesta Key, Downtown, St. Armand's Circle, and world-class golf courses.
As you enter this spacious house you will instantly feel at home with the warmth of its abundant natural light and its meticulous Coastal Contemporary style. Its open concept allows all the rooms to seamlessly flow into one another. A formal dining space with seating for 8 faces a modern kitchen with all brand new stainless steel appliances and a large waterfall island with additional counter seating. Fully stocked with designer flatware, silverware, glassware, cookware, and every conceivable appliance this kitchen will make you want to stay home for dinner.
Walking over into the living room you will find a comfortable couch and armchairs with ottomans chuck full of throw pillows for ultimate comfort. With a fully functional fireplace on one side and a large screen 4k television tricked out with all the premium cable channels on the other, this will be the perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy together.
Every room in the house opens to the gorgeous stone-paved outdoor living area. A covered back porch with a loveseat, rocking chairs, and ceiling fan sits in plain view of the large saltwater system heated pool. To your left, you will find an outdoor dining area (for 8) sitting under a pergola and a brand new top rated 6 burner gas grill. As you make your way around the pool you will find an outdoor living room with designer furniture shaded by an 11' cantilever umbrella. For your lounging needs, there are three chaise lounges with two 8' market umbrellas. Beyond that is an expansive yard with its green lawn shaded by centuries-old trees. This legit outdoor living is a vacation in and of itself. Your own private resort!
A split floor plan places the master bedroom at one end of the house, providing it with maximum privacy. It boasts a king-size bed with a high-end mattress, fine linens, and another large screen tv neatly tucked into its own cabinet. The en suite bathroom with double vanity and frameless glass shower enclosure evokes a modern spa feel. Just outside an oversized walk-in closet is a sitting area with a full-length mirror. Across the room two sliding doors open to a private patio that connects to the pool area.
In the second bedroom, you can also enjoy a king-size bed. A walk-in closet, sitting area, full-length mirror, and direct access to the pool makes this bedroom feel like another master.
The third bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for kids or single family members. It too includes a walk-in closet and sitting area. A bathroom is shared by these two rooms.
A laundry room with brand new Samsung washer & dryer leads to the two-car garage. There you will find a set of 6 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, a large rolling cooler, toys, inflatables and a beach cart with which to conveniently transport all your gear on beach days.

We enjoyed a week at BHR getting some sun and visiting local friends! The house was cute and immaculate, the yard/pool area were beautiful, and the kitchen/BBQ were great and well equipped. It was a wonderful home, well/centrally located, in an older, less cookie-cutter SRQ neighborhood. Communication with property owners was smooth, and we had great fun. Would stay there again if we're in Sarasota. My only (very) minor quibble is that the pool temp was pretty warm for July heat, but even that was improved by one afternoon of Florida summer rains. Otherwise it was terrific!

I can’t say enough positive things about this house or our experience. The house was so comfortable, so much attention to detail, so well stocked. Beds were really comfortable. Master suite has huge TV, beautifully decorated, great bathroom and on opposite side of the house as the other rooms. Backyard and pool were like a spa experience. Host and property manager are super responsive. We come to Sarasota 3-4 times a year, this is one of the better homes we’ve stayed at. Great location too!

My daughter was in the US Rowing National finals. We required, excellent sleep, a close proximity to the venue, the ability to make clean food, and relax in peace and quiet in the down times. The beds, linens, black-out curtains, absolute cleanliness, saltwater pool, a bathtub for mineral soaks, and peaceful location were all perfect. We hope to be back next year. Thank you for making everything so amazing for our stay.

I don't write reviews for the places that we stay, because we stay at so many. Yet, I am compelled to write about this rental.My wife and I sold our home in November and set out with our children. We have no end date and are staying a month at a time in different locations around the US. (Road school!)Blue Heron Ranch is one of the best places that we have stayed in our eight years of using rental properties. The house has been completely redone tastefully. It provides a fresh, light and very comfortable home with all amenities needed. Then, there is the pool and back yard. It is a wonderful resort all its own.The location is convenient to all needs and is a 20 minute or less drive to the beaches. Skip the congestion on the islands and go there when you wish. Then, return to this wonderful oasis in a quiet neighborhood.A coming plus is that the nearby extension of the Legacy Trail is being completed soon, with access just two minutes away. This will give the opportunity for miles of walking, running and cycling. Did I say 10 out of 10? I am even not a friend or relative of the owner! If they continue to keep the home fresh and maintained as it is now it will be a great destination for all far into the future.Wish we could hitch the property to the back of our car and take it with us. Well done!David
