The Sassy House

Good for its value. Located near the Tengah beach, which is a smaller and quieter beach than the Cenang beach. Takes 20-30 minutes to walk to the Cenang beach, so taking a Grab car would be easier. The room is clean. The only thing is that the electric kettle didn’t look quite clean. I didn’t see any insects in the room except for a few small moths that didn’t bother me at all. The receptionist isn’t around most of the time, so make sure that you get her WhatsApp upon checkin so that you can message her whatever you need. She’s pretty responsive. It’s tucked inside, around 3 minutes walk from the main road, so it’s quiet. The room has the right size. Everything makes sense.

Sassy hotel is located in a great area with lots of nice restaurants surrounding, about 5-10 minute walk from beaches and main strip down Cengah. The owner of the property is very kind, accommodating and very easy to get a hold of. The gym looked good too. No faults with this place at all, especially with the price it's a no brainer. 100% recommend and I will be back

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Sassy House. I spent there 4 nice quiet days. Fieza (the receptionist) is an angel. Thank you for everything Fieza :) The place is inhabited by many Malay people who are very respectful, welcoming and always ready to help with anything. This place is so much better than any resort to be honest. I slept there like a baby since people respect other's sleep. Also bed and pillows were comfy. Yes there's a construction site next door but it didn't bother me because by the time they'd start (around 9:30) I was already awake. The only thing was missing was maybe a little fridge in the room (there's a communal kitchen you can use, though). I also very much appreciated the fact I could do the laundry there for free. Overall I wish I'd stayed there more days instead of moving to touristy Cenang to a resort full of loud tourists. :)

Fieza is a super energetic woman who is always available for anything you need. I stayed here for about a month, and it had everything I needed: a kitchen I could use, a laundry room if you wanted a treadmill (essential on rainy days!), and a water dispenser. I work online and personally had no problems even when making video calls with +3 people connected. The location is perfect because in a few minutes' walk you are already in the centre and at the beach. It is a super quiet, safe place, far from the hustle and bustle, and in the evening you could hear the frogs and cicadas. I never had any problems with the stuff who worked at the Aloft hotel, most of whom were men, cordial and friendly. Thank you for everything
