The apartment features one bedroom with a queen bed and flat screen TV, a second bedroom with two queens and extra closet space, one bathroom with shower over bath. Included is one designated parking space, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor gas grill on a large outdoor patio area for the whole gang to congregate.
Capitola is an historic little coastal town with plenty of surf spots, boutique shops and a whole host of commercial and entertainment outlets for young and old alike. We came down for a ling weekend and selected Capitola as our base this time. Couldn't have been more pleased with the location, the covered & reserved off-street parking spot and the unit itself. Easy access,well appointed with nice leather furniture in living room. Comfrtable beds in both rooms. A single bathroom but worked out fine. Kitchen has modern appliances and is well stocked. Large table in eating area. Two block easy walk to Capitoka Beach and an unanticipated 20 minute fireworks show fired off the newly rebuilt pier

House location and pictures are as-advertised. Amenities/property management are completely substandard, with multiple issues.
House was advertised with Washer/Dryer, which were broken during our stay. Manager did not communicate this at booking or during check-in. After I reached out, there was a part they were waiting for and they said "it should arrive any day" and "I'll keep you posted." I never heard from them again over the next 3 days. Not being able to wash our clothes significantly impacted our vacation, as we'd packed for the ability to do laundry. No compensation was offered.
Additional property issues were
1) The only toilet had trouble flushing unless you lifted the top of the tank and manually lifted the flapper. This should be a simple fix to adjust the chain but had not been done.
2) The broiler element on the electric oven was falling off and hanging down such that the top shelf of the oven was unusable. This seems like it could be an electrical safety issue.
3) The shelf bar on the refrigerator was broken so that one shelf of the refrigerator could not be used
Again, the property photos and location were great. Most of these items are not critical, but there was zero disclosure and zero attempt to resolve problems. I expect more when I spend $500+/night including fees. The property manager is doing the owner a disservice. Our family vacation was negatively impacted by the advertised amenities that were not available during our stay and there was no acknowledgment of that other than a ":("
