About this house rental
This home has all the amenities: a private lakefront home right on the edge of town.
This air conditioned home has an open floor plan, where you can enjoy the beautiful gas log, stone fireplace while looking through the extra-large door wall enjoying the spectacular sunsets of the East Bay. The full working kitchen boasts of all the modern-day amenities, including a dishwasher, garbage disposal, two refrigerators, and a built-in microwave.
The upstairs has 4 spacious bedrooms each with its own smart TV, that will comfortably accommodate 10 guests. The Master bedroom has its own private balcony for those romantic sunsets. Also located upstairs is the second full bath complete with a Jacuzzi tub.
The amenities don’t stop at the inside of the home, outside you will find an attached two-car garage, a side yard for additional parking, a lakeside yard, a dock, and plenty of shallow water to use the 2 provided kayaks, paddleboards, Lily Pad or just for letting the kids play with provided deck and water toys.
This is truly a year-round home: swimming, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, ice fishing, state trailhead for ATV just a mile away, and plenty of state land nearby for hunting and hiking.

The cottage was very clean. Small but cozy and cute, great location on the lake. Upstairs flooring was very creaky/loud. We didn’t get to take advantage of the lake, but could see how the summer months would be perfect to swim right out your back door. Enjoyed our stay. Host was great with communication and left a nice bottle of wine and wine opener for the guest. Great touch

The host was kind and helpful. The house met our needs. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the lakehouse. The only negative is that I personally didn't think that it was worth the money. It's a nicely refurbished older home in a town that is not great. Also the listing states that there is a hot tub, not true, there is a bathtub with jets.

Everything was great, except the fact that the driveway was covered with 2-3 feet of snow for us to shovel upon arrival. The snow had been there for a very long time as it was hard like ice in most spots. It took my son and I close to 46 minutes to get 3/4 of it knocked down and our other guests arrived to help. I threw my back out and was down for the count once I got home, couldn’t move for 2 days out of my bed. The road to the house was plowed, it sure would’ve been a common courtesy to have that plowed for us. I sent the owner a message about it after we left and she never even responded back to me.
