About this chalet rental
Situation:
In the heart of the small mountain village of Montrigon which is at an altitude of 1000 meters (on the road which links Bourg Saint Maurice to Les Arcs), authenticity and calm are guaranteed.
Access to the village:
It is 10 minutes by car from the town of Bourg Saint Maurice (large choice of shops, restaurants and bars at reasonable prices). Free parking 50 m from the chalet.
The funicular that links Bourg Saint Maurice station to Les Arcs stops in the village, 100 meters from the chalet. The journey to the station or the city takes 5 minutes.
Housing
Comfortable, spacious, bright and carefully decorated chalet.
4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 WCs, a kitchen open to the dining room and living room, 2 terraces facing south and west, double fireplace, pellet stoves. Quality bedding. Baby cot on request
Sheets, tea towels and hand towels provided (only in winter). Beds made on arrival.
Cleaning done by professionals at the end of the stay (included in the rental price)
Les Arcs resort:
Connected to the Plagne station to form the Paradiski area, you can take advantage of 425 km of slopes and 132 ski lifts (the majority of recent installations, such as a cable car or detachable chairlift). From easy pistes to very technical pistes, everyone can find what they are looking for, without forgetting the snowpark!
Other possible activities: walks, speed riding, water slide, toboggan runs, paragliding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, dog sledding, spa, swimming pool, bars, nightclubs, bowling alleys and much more!
In summer, the activities on offer are also numerous: hiking, mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, hydrospeed, paragliding, etc.

We had a great stay at the chalet. It was great value for money and we really enjoyed our holiday. There was one funicular per hour up to Les Arcs 1600 which was easy enough to manage and only 5 min walk to get there. The heating was mostly by wood pellet stove which was fine once we'd done it a couple of times. Overall we werevery pleased with the booking. We would book again.

We had an enjoyable stay at the chalet. It’s in a small hamlet (Montrigon) which has access to the funicular railway. The Funicular is about 2-3 mins walk from the chalet, and runs roughly once every hour to Arc 1600. Access to the chalet is best by foot, although you can reverse a small car up to the door. If not, the parking is about 50 metres away. Apparently there is a way to ski back to the chalet, but it’s not too easy, so we got the funicular back. The chalet has three bedrooms on the ground floor, and one bedroom in the basement. No wifi in the basement room. The lounge and kitchen on the top floor are nicely layed out, with a big dining table. Heating is by wood pellet stoves, which throw out a lot of heat, but do need filling and can get too hot at times. Two bathrooms are on the ground floor and one in the basement. Overall we had a great week, and the owners were very helpful. Recommended.
