It’s was amazing like what you see in the movies and YouTube , Cousy ,relaxing, clean, quiet , the vibe and close to the center. The host (Hana) is very helpful, polite and made our new year is a remarkable.

The property is warm and very cosy, its not especially spacious but it has everything we needed and we enjoyed it. The lounge is comfortable and the bedrooms are both good sizes with comfortable beds. The master bedroom is quite large and has a mountain view. The back yard is large and great for kids, we made snowmen and had a great time. There is a small ski run next to the property, but be aware that its only small and they don't use artificial snow, so it can close if the weather is warm. The cabin doesn't have laundry facilities, so Hannah did our laundry (YMMV), and when two of us got the flu for a day or two, she made us spiced tea. Just so nice :) Its about a 10-12 minute walk to the Zakopane centre with lots of restaurants and shops (including about 5 ski shops), and there are basic shops (green grocer, small supermarket, newsagent, pharmacy, bakery, butcher) about 2 minutes away, including an excellent bakery. The hosts are amazing, they live next door and make themselves available but never intruded. They helped us with restaurant recommendations and bookings, taxi bookings and general help navigating a different culture. Their English is good. If you need a taxi make sure to ask them, they know a great driver who speaks pretty good English and who was very friendly and had lots of local information. Everything works, everything is of a high standard, and the building is made using traditional Highlander carpentry techniques which have to be seen to be believed, amazing woodwork everywhere.

The wi-fi was a bit patchy and sometimes dropped out. It was fine for watching movies on the living room tv, but sometimes the kid's games dropped out. We found a solution was find a place where signal was strong and put a phone there to hotspot, that all worked fine. There is no oven and the fridge doesn't have a freezer section, but otherwise the kitchen is fully equipped.

We liked everything about this place. We felt like home. Very clean and cosy. Hana and Jacob were fantastic. They helped us with information of where to go during our stay. They are the perfect hosts. The location was super only 5 minutes by walk from the center. We will definitely go there again. I strongly recommend this beautiful cottage. The breakfast was also super.
