The location was excellent, very near most of the main sites of the city. The first room that we had was comfortable and the facilities good. Reception was helpful and gave us useful advice about restaurants, transport and tours.
Our second room, just for one night returning to Sofia for the airport, was stuck right at the top of the guest house. We did get help lugging our bags up to the top but it was not a great place to be. The second room had a sprung loaded door the the bathroom which made it difficult to open, a floor with a strange lump which was easy to trip over. Compared to the first room which was good value, I really would not consider this worth the money.
