    Hotel was very nice. Though far from the train station but the bus is near enough to travel to different place..I love the free coffee n tea. You can also leave your luggage after checkout. They have service center near Kyoto station just pay 500 yen per luggage.

    This is a nice hotel, and I appreciated the spacious room, washing machine and the fact the bathroom can dry your clothes. Unfortunately for tourists in Kyoto, the location isn't great, and it's far from everything tourists typically want to do. If Kyoto is a once in a lifetime trip, stay somewhere central and walkable.

    Stayed at Stay SAKURA Kyoto Tsubaki during peak season as it was one of the few reasonably priced options. Rooms were clean and decent in size, bathroom was good, and the washing machine was very useful. My kid loved the sofa bed. Big downside — no housekeeping for a 3-night stay, which was quite inconvenient. Also, rooms feel cramped if you have multiple suitcases. Location isn’t great. There’s a bus stop nearby but connectivity isn’t very smooth, and we ended up taking expensive taxis. Overall, okay for the price, but comes with a few compromises.

    Clean and modern, with a laundry machine and a simple but useful kitchenette. It is very close to bus lines but a bit far from subway and train stations. For us the location was good as it was close to our friend's place.
