Casa Oceana - Airlie Beach

Location is perfect! View from balcony is perfect! Beds were quite comfy, spacious apartment for a family. Swimming pool was great, loved having a lock up garage available, decor was modern and suited the coastal vibe.

Aircon in living area wasn’t functioning properly, whole apartment needed a deep clean, including appliances, oven didn’t function properly. Internet connection was barely usable.

Dieser Ausblick!!!!! Ein Blick bis zu den Whitsunday Inseln, einfach nur traumhaft. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche und auch sonst hübsch eingerichtetes Appartement. Hier sogar 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Balkone. Die Pools sind auch sehr schön 🤩

Das einparken bei dieser extremen Steigung ist schon eine Herausforderung! Viele Treppen und sehr steiler Berg von Airlie Beach bis zum Appartement. Für uns aber kein Problem 😉

Beautiful view

The freezer did not work. A working freezer would have been expected, especially in the heat.

We are a family with three children and booked this apartment because we definitely needed three bedrooms. However, the third bedroom in this apartment is not usable because it does not have air conditioning. The ceiling fan (fans are installed in every room) was not sufficient at this time of year. I would definitely advise against this apartment if all three bedrooms are needed. Another downside is the air conditioning in the living room. Either it did not work properly or it was not efficient enough. After we complained immediately, we were told that the air conditioning was functioning correctly and would provide sufficient cooling. We cannot confirm this. Otherwise, we were reasonably satisfied with the apartment given the circumstances. The hillside location (very steep and only accessible on foot) was not a problem for us. The town with its attractions can be reached within a few minutes. The pool is rather functional (next to the parking area) and not particularly attractive. The apartment offers a very nice view from the balcony, and all necessary appliances and utensils are available. The apartment itself is somewhat outdated. Overall, the price–performance ratio did not meet our expectations.
