Great apartment in Cochem

The apartment is very nice, in a great location walking distance from the restaurants and shops, with a really nice view on the river. The host was very nice and helpful, and the place was spotlessly clean, has plenty of space and is equipped with everything you might need (coffee machine, cooking utensils, etc). We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time!

Beautiful apartment and great host

This apartment is astonishing, beautifully designed and luxurious, we felt so lucky to stay here. The large living dining area with fully equipped kitchen and all appliances working perfectly. The bedroom has a stand alone roomy closet, hallway also has nice furniture for extra storage; the bathroom has a tall towel heater and shower’s water pressure and temperature work perfectly and easy to use, we enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the beautiful view of river and vineyards. The owner Maja is extremely organized and very thoughtful with her guests, she always replied to my questions quickly. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend anyone interested in visiting Cochem to hurry and book this wonderful apartment soon.

Simply incredible 5*

Gorgeous apartment, with everything you could want or need and perfectly positioned for wonderful walks along the river and beers in town. Beds were extremely comfortable and newly fitted shower was superb. Local vineyard wines stocked in the kitchen for purchase and chocolate biscuits on the pillow…. What more could you want on arrival. Waking up each morning to the amazing views (the picture attached is from the bedroom window) made it almost impossible to leave! The private garage under the apartment was perfect for the motorbike for those on bike trips with hairpin bends in abundance surrounding the property. Maja was an incredible host, nothing too much trouble, even dropped us round painkillers when the shops were shut Sunday and we’d run out! This is a little gem and if you’re lucky enough for this to be available when looking, snap it up quick! Thanks Maja hopefully be back soon xx

If you want complete silence 24/7 this isn’t the property for you as can be a little nosey with windows OPEN…. Expected as town location so no complaints here, but don’t complain about the traffic if you want a central location by the river as the road runs alongside it.

An overall wonderful stay, we will be going back.

Maja is a wonderful host and she thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, even down to an umbrella in case it rained. We are a family of three and the accomodation was spacious and could not be better located, tucked beneath the castle and overlooking the Mosselle River and a five minute walk to the cruises and town centre.

Amazingly perfect stay in Cochem

This apartment is just perfect. Amazing views from the terrace, spacious, perfectly equipped kitchen, and the best beds we have stayed in. Maja was an impeccable host and so friendly and helpful. Few minute walk into the heart of restaurants and town. Very clean and smelled nice. Incredible value and the pictures don't do it justice, it is even better.

The street in front has some traffic noise, but there is no way to avoid that if you want the beautiful river views. The windows keep out much of the noise and it gets quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping at all. In fact, slept better than we had in 5wks of traveling.

Extremely comfortable, clean, nice apartment near the city centrum, with everything one need (maybe except for the washing machine). Very friendly and helpful host, easy communication and check-in/out options. There are several parking options :)) Apartment are designed with attention and care. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was absolutely perfect!

If I could give this apartment 10 stars I would. It was absolutely perfect, charming, and even better than the pictures. The front living room area looks out directly on the Mosel river, and the back where the bedroom is located is on a quiet small street, so you get the best of both worlds (great views and quiet setting). The location is great too. You are less than 5 minutes from the old town, 500 meters or so from a decent sized grocery store, directly beneath the castle, and a bit less than a mile from the train station. The owner picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and this was a huge benefit with our luggage. The space was sparkling clean and the wifi worked well. There are many extras too, such as mints on your pillow, sparkling water and some sweets, and a coffee pot with coffee beans that are ground fresh when you want a cup of coffee. I just can't say enough good things about this bright and cheery apartment. We stayed 10 weeks in Europe and this apartment was the very best of all. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of hooks and surfaces in the bathroom and bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We can't recommend this highly enough!

When visiting Cochem, we highly recommend staying on the outskirts, such as Maja’s place for a comfortable apartment.

Maja was the sweetest hostess…we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Location (for us) was perfect…away the hectic city environment, but only a 4 minute walk to the center of Cochem, on the promenade with stunning river view! Maja’s apartment was spotless and all attention to detail was evident for travelers. Loved, loved her AromaRoast coffee maker & coffee she supplied. Her meeting us and helping us with train logistics was truly appreciated.

The hostess is one of the nicest women I have ever met. The apartment is new and very clean. Its furniture and equipment is more than described and expected. There were even games for the child. Its location is a perfect distance from shops and attractions and with a very nice view of the vineyards. We would come back again!

Voortreffelijk appartement in een mooie omgeving

We hebben vier nachten verbleven in Ferienhaus Maja en het was fantastisch! Het appartement is prachtig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien — fijne bedden, een goede douche en een rijk uitgeruste keuken. De ligging is ideaal, op loopafstand van het centrum van Cochem, maar toch heerlijk rustig. Van de iets drukkere weg aan de voorkant hebben we geen enkele overlast ervaren. De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en duidelijk in haar communicatie. We hebben enorm genoten en zouden dit verblijf absoluut aanraden aan iedereen die Cochem en omgeving wil ontdekken!

Gemütliche, helle Altbauwohnung, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr schön mit Blick auf die Mosel. In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man die Altstadt.

Super schön modern zentral und dich ruhig

Die Lage der Wohnung direkt an der Mosel getrennt von einer Straße nur 2min zu Fuß zur Innenstadt war einfach perfekt für uns. Hinterm Haus ging der Weg hoch zur Reichsburg, der nicht so überlaufen war. Maja war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Von der Buchung bis zur Abholung vom Parkplatz mit unserem Gepäck bis zum Check Out. Alles war perfekt. Wohnung ist super schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Fenster sind absolut dicht, so dass man beim geschlossenen Fenster nichts von der Straße hört. Beste Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen zu Fuß in Cochem, mit dem Fahrrad in die umliegenden Ortschaften oder mit dem Auto. Alles sehr gut erreichbar. Viele Restaurants zur Auswahl mit Empfehlungen von der Gastgeberin. Küche war voll ausgestattet uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Können es absolut nur weiterempfehlen. Konnten sogar spontan unsere Fahrräder unterstellen. Vielen Dank nochmals für Alles.

Fantastisch appartement op een toplocatie in het prachtige Cochem.

Mooi schoon en ruim appartement op een toplocatie. Verkeer voorlangs maar dat is hoofdzakelijk overdag als je er ws niet bent . S’avonds heerlijk rustig. Leuk om op terras over de rivier en wandel/fiets promenade te kijken. Levendig en gezellig.

Mājoklis atrodas labā vietā. Tas ir gan tuvu centram, gan nost no skaļās vakara jundas centra krodziņos. Saimniece ir parūpējusies, lai viesi te justos gaidīti un komfortabli. Ļoti ērts matracis. Te ir neliela virtuve, bet labi nodrošināta, lai varētu uzturēties ilgāk un kaut ko pagatavot uz vietas. Tikai jāņem vērā, ka uz vietas praktiski nav pārtikas veikalu, bet ir daudz krodziņu.

We hebben er een ontspannen vakantie gehad in een prachtige omgeving

Het huis is zeer goed geisoleerd, dus bij gesloten ramen en deuren vrijwel geen lawaai.Het bed was echt super. En alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig.

Het was wennen aan de kookplaat. Wij zijn inductie gewend en dit was ceramisch en blijft lang heet.

Super appartement

Alles was prima in orde. Mooi appartement, alles aanwezig, heel schoon, mooi uitzicht aan de voorkant, rustig gelegen maar toch vlakbij het centrum. De eigenaresse is een super aardige dame.

Eigenlijk niks. De voorkant ligt aan een drukke weg. Wij hadden daar geen last van. En als je de ramen sluit, hoor je helemaal niks meer. Parkeerplaats is vlakbij. Wij hadden 2 fietsen en nogal wat bagage bij ons, dat was lastig. Maar de eigenaresse bracht onze bagage naar de parkeerplaats, dus was geen probleem. Echt niks te klagen!

Perfekter Kurzurlaub

Sehr schönes Apartment mit super ausgestatter Küche und einem tollen Blick auf die Mosel. Alles fußläufig gelegen, ohne im Trubel zu sein, also auch schön ruhig. Sehr sympathische Gastgeberin, wir wurden sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt. Perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub.
