Central Hideaway on Kent

Great central location about 5 minutes drive from town centre. Room itself was roomy and having the car park was so helpful in a town where you really do have to drive everywhere.

A fantastic property in a brilliant location. The apartment was large, spacious and well equipped. The parking was really convenient and easy to access from the property. The apartment came equipped with everything you need - toiletries, cooking equipment, a welcome snack & drink. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay again soon!

Well maintained and lots of kitchen basics supplied so made the stay easy. A very comfortable space for dining and relaxing. Easy to do laundry. Smart TV.

The carpark was tricky with a big car.

Relaxaway hosts difficult to deal with. We were told the fireplace was broken the day before we checked in. Our main requirement for an apartment was a fireplace. We asked to stay in another apartment with a working fireplace that was available (at an extra cost) but were refused. When we insisted, we were told the full cancellation cost of accomm would be payable as it was within 30 days of booking! Still had not resolved on the day of check in so we were offered a discount for our stay which isn’t want we wanted - we just wanted an apartment with a working fireplace! We had no choice but to accept or lose entire accomm cost. When we checked in it was clear the fireplace had been broken for some time, it was partially removed from the wall with a laminated ‘out of order’ sign. The day before we checked out we found an email from the hosts advising a temporary electric fireplace was available to be delivered. We were out that day and didn’t want to change our plans to meet someone when we were leaving the next day. We then got a snarky email from the hosts about not accepting delivery. On top of this, the dishwasher was broken so we did hand washing for the week. The whole experience soured the trip and wasn’t what we expected given the cost of accomm was expensive at more than $700/night. Definitely would not book with them again.
