Very pleasant hotel in Cuernavaca

We drove in from the Mexico City airport and were a late arrival. Despite that, the desk was staffed and we were able to get in our room. The grounds are very beautiful, as is the set-up for breakfast, which was also excellent. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Our room had A/C, which was almost a necessity, in our opinion. The room was very clean and well-maintained, as were the grounds. This is obviously an older hotel, with older fixtures, some of which could use upgrading. But what was there, worked fine for us. The beds were comfortable. There was hot water, although it took a while to arrive. It has a nice bar, but it is only intermittently staffed, and wine is something of a novelty item. There is secure parking, at a small fee. It is short drive, and not too long a walk to the historic district from the hotel

It would be advisable for them to upgrade the decor, especially in terms and providing A/C to all the rooms. We were traveling with friends, who didn't have A/C, as we had booked an upgrade room. The hotel did not have a restaurant for evening meals, and there were only a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Just for note, one was an excellent sushi place. We had a car, so that wasn't a big problem, but it is something to consider.

It needs some maintenance and remodeling. For instance, the bathroom door needed painting. The restaurant furniture needs painting or a change.

Room didnt had AC. Just a fan and it was really hot. Even more than outside, don't know why. Pool was good but it didn't seem to be clean enough. Maybe because of the weekend but it looked a little bit dirty.

Excellent but very expensive

Breakfast was very good and service excellent, room very comfortable and quiet, beautiful garden and pool, very quiet and relax location. Very friendly and nice location to join with family in Cuernavaca and have a delicious breakfast and take some good pictures in the garden. we all love this hotel.

Excellent well maintained hotel with long term dedicated staff.

Excellent professional managed family hotel on large grounds. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast options. Great for families with kids due to pool. Like a mini resort in the middle of a city. They have a row of rooms that can be reached without steps or stairs after the arriving about 4 steps above street to reception. Most rooms not Aircon but no need unless you have hot flashes. They have suites too called Master. Photos are standard rm.

A good option for a weekend getaway. Family-style lodging at a fair price.

Breakfast was very good, staff was very friendly. The grounds are carefully tended for, overall it was a pleasant stay. Whole check-in/out process was quick and easy.

Some of the neighboring rooms were WAY too loud at night (blaring TV, doors, etc), and we had to call the Front Desk to do something about them. Cocktails were not good at all, bartenders could use some classes.

Beautiful place with a country vibe

The place is beautiful, pool was nice and breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and nice. Although it is not very close to the center, it is a 15 min ride tops, and the fact that is kinda far makes you feel more secluded and in a more peaceful neighborhood. I forgot my Apple Watch in my room and they immediately contacted me, which is a sign of good service.

This is a great little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cuernavaca. The grounds are well-taken care of and the staff is gracious and welcoming. This is not an upscale 5 star but rather a family-run, quaint and cozy traditional hotel. It is charming and reminiscent of days gone by Mexican hospitality. HIghly recommended.

We rented the suite so we had air-conditioning. However, many of the rooms do not have it. In the hot months of April and May, this may be uncomfortable.
