Friendly staff, spacious room, and a great indoor and outdoor onsen. Our room has separate bath, toilet and washing area. Excellent dinner and breakfast as well.

the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. the location was ideal, close to the center of town. parking was available. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, despite my limited Japanese. recommend it 100%.
The onsen was small

The hotel has a good location in a nice quiet spot and my room had a great view of the mountains on the opposite side of the town. Yumoto onsen itself can either be reached by bus or better yet by walking from ryuzu waterfall through the peaceful marsh land senjogahara. The quality of the onsen water is amazing and among the best that I have ever experience in Japan.
Checkout is at 10 and not 11 like many other hotels. I'm not a morning person, so I'd like a little extra time to enjoy the fabulous onsen water after breakfast.
