Best vacation I ever had. I had a hard time leaving.

Best vacation I ever had. Quiet, pristine, beautiful lake. Small rowboat available. I had the time of my life (: Great apartment. More than enough room for a couple. Kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. Supermarket around 15 minutes away.

It wouldn't hurt to pave the small part from the main road to the property.

Wonderful escape from reality in Saimaa Lake Region

Wonderful sight on the lake, total quietness even if full booked, sauna included and often available, giant apartment and great services

We were a tiny bit anxious in leaving everything tidy and clean (according to rules) but we agreed on them. We would have liked some common items such as napkins or coffee for machine. Tiny details compared to the great and cozy stay in Villa Rajala!

This peaceful and comfortable place gave me the rest I needed and I will gladly come back someday :)

The complex offered comfort, tranquility and peace. The place is located right next to a lake, we could watch swans from our bedroom. Our apartment had a neat and comfortable arrangement, kitchen fully equipped, the floor in the bathroom was heated. We had our private porch and and path leading to a nice wooden pier. The owners communicate smoothly and quickly and respond to our questions and needs. They also take good care of the property, everything looked tidy and pretty.

I think the warm water comes from a boiler, because it was enough only for one person at a time. Not a big issue in my opinion. The wifi did connect, but didn't offer internet. Probably it would be fixed if I mentioned it, but had my own internet, so I didn't bother.

Oven was missing (though microwave was available). Tv was not working properly, it was failing to detect wifi and we could not put it to work. Handy Instruction book could help, so you need not contact host again and again.

Excellent value for money if you are willing to take the 15 min drive from Imatra

The small apartment contained everything we needed for a short stay. There is a (mostly) private patio with really nice views to the lake. The apartment was clean and well maintained (with a small exception, see below).

There was direct visibility from outside to the shower through a big window. There were blinds, but they were not really attached to the window in any way and were really tricky to operate. The patio is right next to the entrance to the sauna next door, so people going to the sauna and for a dip in the lake will be walking right past you if you are sitting on the patio.

Great natural surroundings, very easy access. Fully functional modern cottage, with all kitchen amenities. We must mention good internet connection (we had remote work) Prompt host.

The property is amazing and new. The room was very clean and the location was superb. The property owner was helpful and polite. You can enjoy Sauna, Boating and relax near the lake. The rooms have private outside dining places where you can enjoy dinner by the lake.

Lovely place

The property is great. We had a slight incidence getting there. We arrived late night and since the road was slippery due to soft snow, our van got stuck uphill close the place. We had to leave the van by the side of the road. However, the host were super helpful though-out our stay and answered our questions immediately. We needed oven and coffee maker which was provided immediately. When returning, the host accompanied until the finish of the hill to make sure we managed to cross it with no problem. The place is really nice and well equipped. Spent 4 adults and a child over Xmas for 4 nights and really enjoyed it.
