Villa Rajala

Beautiful and quiet location on the lake. Well presented, clean apartment. Plenty of space for two people. Nice outdoor area with chairs and lounges. Close to grocery stores (10 minute drive).

The bed was too soft for us, but that’s a personal preference. Wine glasses and a toaster would be appreciated, but otherwise it is well stocked for cooking.

The only thing I didn’t like was the check-in time being at 4 PM, which feels quite late. The first day is basically already over by then, especially in August and September when the days are shorter and it gets dark quickly. I think a 2 PM check-in and 12 PM check-out would be much more suitable.

Beautiful peaceful location and a good stop off on the way to Lake Saimaa. Well equipped in terms of facilities and kitchen. The owner communicated very well and responded quickly to any questions/concerns.

Sauna didn’t come with any instructions and we couldn’t get it to work even after being given some advice. Certainly not worth paying an upgrade for! We always leave a place neat and tidy when we depart but to be told that the kitchen needs to be spotless and all rubbish taken to the outside bins otherwise we would be charged extra seems unnecessary when you’re renting a place for one night, Property was overpriced and not value for money, which was highlighted when you could get it for half the price we paid if you booked on the day!

The location was perfect. Nice access from parking. The outside area was outstanding.

No heating inside, the door locks were not logical and the TV had lot of lag. The ass-om costs were not described clearly during the booking
