The staff is doing their best, but some things depend on the owner of the business.

An incredibly dirty hotel. Everything sticks to your hands. The air conditioner was positioned above the bed and water was dripping onto the bed. The floors were filthy. The worst part was that after entering the room, the previous guest's poop was still in the toilet. The electrical outlets didn't even have covers. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. Unfortunately, the only reason I'm writing this is so that other people don't have a bad vacation and don't make the same mistake.

Well what can i say, we booked a room and wanted an extra bed unfortunately they don’t look at the messages… firstly when we arrived there were nobody at the reception or hotel, there was note ( in there own language) says that we have to go to there restaurant which was approximately 1 km away from the hotel Secondly when we arrived to the restaurant the owner’s attitude was incredibly rude, he kept speaking his own language with his stuff and pointed my 6 years old son! To sum up im not sure why do they bother to run a place it’s obvious that they don’t want any guests there.

Very basic but great location

During our stay we only ever saw two members of staff; that was the cleaner and the lady who prepared breakfast. Both were very friendly. Location was excellent. The hotel is on Flower Street a 5 minute walk from the seafront. The bed was comfortable.

There was no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room. Lights above the bed had no bulbs in them. Bathroom was clean but very basic. We had to hold the shower as no wall attachment. This hotel just needs some love and attention to make an excellent place to stay. It's basic accommodation but a lick of paint and a few things added to the rooms would certainly give it an upgrade.

A kitch abandoned building from the 90s left to rot by the owner. It's a standard touristic scam!!

Definitely nothing!

The entire building is not fit for purpose and needs to be entirely renovated or closed. This is really NOT a hotel. There was no staff or services apart from basic cleaning every 2 days. The building and everything in it are too old and abandoned, not even painted, light bulbs broken, shower curtain broken, the doors in all rooms are scratching the floor making a lot of noise, the closet smells horrible and had broken old hangers, the room is as small as a closet, nothing was painted or refreshed for the summer season, the location is noisy and smells grill from the nearby taverns. Horrible overall.

This place is a lovely family run taverna-and-rooms establishment

George the owner runs hotel Mariona and Tarsanas, which are very comfortable and well-located. George himself is exceptionally kind and generous- I visited Pythagorio in the off-season, and even though I was the only guest he went out of his way to cook delicious meals and to make sure I had everything I needed. He also gave me a helpful map of the town and answered all of my many questions about Samos island. The rooms are simple and clean, but if you have not stayed in this kind of Greek "taverna and rooms" hotel before, keep in mind that this place is more like an old house than a conventional hotel chain. Some of the fixtures and appliances might be a bit run down, you might have to let the shower run for a few minutes in order to get hot water, things like that. The expectation is that you will go talk to the owner if there is any problem or anything you need.

Friendly and family feeling. Good location.

Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed at hotel restaurant Tarsanas instead of Hotel Mariona. Is more expensive but change was for the same price. Hotel with excellent location. Rooms cozy. Excellent breakfast. Very good restaurant with different choices of very nice meals. Free sun loungers by the sea.

The owner is very helpful and friendly and all the staff did they best to make our stay very pleasant. Fresh orange juice,tasty breakfast and fresh coffee was also super!

location

It was dirty, mold, taps that were loose, lamps that didn't work or hung loose. Lamp shades were missing. Hair and other skin and DNA traces from previous guests were everywhere. Food from previous guests was still in the drawers. The towels had what it looked like... old blood stains. The sheets also had stains from a previous owner 😣

Poor quality, misleading photos

This place does not look like the photos online! It is an old building, with no amenities. The room qas dirty, simple, not meeting at all the expectations of a studio. Really disappointed. The only positives were the functional WiFi and AC. Very poor quality of service in general, misleading photos. Not recommended, at all!

Πολύ καλή η τοποθεσία γιατί είναι κοντά με όλα. Είχε κλιματισμό και ψυγείο.

Όταν φτάσαμε είχε ξεχασμένα αντικείμενα από προηγούμενους επισκέπτες. Στο μπάνιο το ραφακι ήταν ξεχαρβαλωμένο οπότε δεν μπορούσαμε να ακουμπήσουμε εύκολα τα πράγματα μας κάπου. Η ιδιοκτήτρια δεν εμφανίστηκε ποτέ και η μόνη που μπόρεσε να μας εξυπηρετήσει ήταν η κοπέλα στο πρωινό.

Niet schoon, overal op de vloer stof en haartjes, je ruikt zware chloorlucht, maar schoon is het niet. Kamer zwaar verouderd, vooral de badkamer kan echt niet. Bij aankomst niemand bij de receptie. Na bellen, werd opgenomen en opgehangen nadat ik Engels sprak. Parkeergelegenheid is achter het hotel, zou fijn zijn als het adres op voorhand gedeeld wordt, want met navigatie kom je er niet.

Tesis eski, oda kapısı zor kapanıyordu ve banyonun lambası yanmıyordu, 2 gün sonra lamba tamir edildi.

Konumu, kahvaltısı, özellikle çalışanları çok iyiydi. Hemen karşısındaki ara sokaktan çok büyük bir otoparka giriyorsunuz. Çok merkezi ama ara sokakta olduğu için de sessiz bir yer. Odamızda iki gözlü çok küçük bir elektrikli ocak da vardı. Birkaç bardak da mevcuttu.

Bina olarak eski. Haliyle mobilyalar, yatak, dolap ve banyo biraz eski. Ama kesinlikle bu bir sorun değil. Çok büyük beklentiler içerisinde değilseniz ve fiyat/performans oteli arıyorsanız burası size göre.

God beliggenhed og lækkert med altan. Rigtigt sød rengøringsdame, selvom hun ikke kunne et ord engelsk, så gik det med tegnsprog og Google oversæt. Vi spiste morgenmad på hotellet den ene morgen og det var okay

Det var svært at komme i kontakt med ejeren da vi skulle tjekke ind. Og da vi fik vores værelse kunne vi ikke låse værelset indefra og måtte derfor skifte nøgle igen.
