    The location was great. The reception area looks really nice. Breakfast was good. I didn’t really love the pool area. The bathroom in our room had some funky things going on which is OK until you think about where is the water going and how would they clean certain areas. It’s a good hotel just don’t expect it to be top-tier.

    I have just concluded my 11 night stay at Au Lac Charner in Ho Chi Mihn City and what a gem. Beautifully appointed lobby.. ( the door handles are outstanding) . My room 611 was a great size . The shower, enormous. Now the toilet is possibly designed by NASA. Dont touch the buttons.. so everything is fine. Bed is super comfy. As are the multiple pillows. A full bathtub is at your disposal. The buffet breakfast will satisfy the fussiest of eaters.. the omelette station is great. A big shout out to orange juice. The staff are very attentive English poses no problems. Next is the location. 5 minutes stroll to Saigon Centre ( beware of the footpaths at present but Capitol works are underway. There is no shortage of great eateries/bars within a couple of hundred metres. I can whole heartedly recommend Au Lac Charner.. i know i will be back next year

    Hotel is old and rundown... Utilities in the room is dirty and faulty. Found stain on the bed, the water spray gun in the washroom is faulty. However, the breakfast is good and staffs are very helpful and friendly.
