Central and easy to get to all main sightseeing places by foot

Walls don't have great soundproofing

Staff at the reception was super cool and very detail oriented.

Maintenance was poor

the location, close to metro but in calm area, the easy check-in, the great hosting with really friendly host and coffee and croissants every morning!! Bed was comfortable, windows kept the noise out and it was just the right temperature in the room!

I would have wanted to be able to choose if I wanted my room cleaned and the bed made every day. I did not need that and I was surprised to come back to the bed being made and my things moved. For my 3 nights trip, I could have been fine without it :-)

The location is excellent, near the Vatican City. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is nice.

They market their rooms as "air-conditioned", but they decide when you are allowed to use the AC. If the outside is "cold enough" according to their definition of "enough", they will not let you use the AC. In other words, their definition of "air-conditioned" is "AC is installed". How most travellers interpret "air-conditioned" is "it is installed, and you can use it whenever you deem necessary". I think they should be more honest and say "room has AC, but we'll decide when you can use it". Since I really value my ability to control my room's temperature, especially when trying to sleep, I won't be returning. When I challenged the staff about this, they literally replied with "you can move to another hotel if you want". They said it as nicely as they could, but it still sounded rude to me. (This was the only not-great interaction I had with their staff. The rest of the time, they were great.)
