A very quiet location, nice host. The rooms were simple, but clean and tidy. Good value.

The location is great, quiet, rooms are cleaned every day.

When we arrived, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, which was very unpleasant. The furniture is old, but in alright condition.

Nice friendly people, comfy room. Was cleaned each day/new towels + bed made. Great location - next to a forest/woodlands. Not far from the bus station and old town (about 2 miles).

we were greeted outside on arrival by a staff member and a man who we later found out to be the owner. we were offered a choice of two rooms one with en-suite shower room , the other with en-suite bathroom; we took the former. key access including late hours and operation of the air con were explained along with the option of having a cooked breakfast if we so chose; we actually took breakfast both mornings along with coffee which was excellent and served on the veranda terrace ... eggs, bacon, bread and a selection of salad vegetables and coffee the location was right on the edge of the town which we sought and expected ... a very easy drive into town [we could have taken a bus , there is a bus stop right outside the hotel] or walked but we wanted to explore various lakes, attractions during our two day stay on the second night the owner and two of his staff hosted a bbq which was enjoyed by 8 of us in total and aided by a 'little' alcohol ;-) we engaged in a great conversation across 4 languages/cultures. staff and owner were very helpful and engaging, nothing was too much trouble

absolutely nothing to dislike; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. a kettle to make morning coffee first thing would have been nice but, in fairness the hotel were happy to send coffee to our room if we asked.
