Stuck in a time warp.

Convenient for a stopover.

Neglected externally and internally, the hotel looked like a time capsule from the 1970's and seemed empty of guests and staff. An air of neglect spread everywhere and it reminded me of a soviet hotel from the 1970's which has had no investment for decades. Hopefully the owners will begin a process of restoration and redecoration before too long! Cheap, but you wouldn't stay for any other reason.

a very basic hotel. Like stepping back in time. woodchip, stained carpets. booked in haste, big mistake we stayed one night out of 2 and moved on. lesson learnt

A night to forget

Ik kon niets goed vinden

This is one of the worst experiences in a hotel in my life. This is not a hotel to spend your holidays but one to take a break and rest while driving through France. It is located in an industrial area and therefore meant for that reason: just to sleep one night and continue your trip. However, sleeping was not something we could do here as the rooms are poorly isolated and you constantly wake up with all the noises from other rooms and people walking through the corridor. The worst part came at one in the morning when despite the sign in all the doors "forbiden to smoke", the guy in front of our room decided to smoke and that triggered the smoke alarm waking everybody up. I was upset at this selfish and inconsiderate behavior but very dissapointed and how the hotel managed the situation. They did not corrected or reprimended this stupid customer at all. They just asked him if he was smoking and to open the window of his room. Then the woman returned to the reception probably to shut the alarm off. But nobody from the hotel took the responsibility to inform the customers that there was no fire. There were also no consecuences for the customer so he most likely will smoke again in the future. It took us very long to fall asleep again after having to get out of bed, get dress and hear the terrible noise of the fire alarm. It was chaotic. The beds are very hard and with very rough sheets. The breakfast looks like nothing you see on the pictures on their website.

Price is Ok, as well as localization

The build is apparently old, but with reasonable maintenance. The smell of cigarrette in the room (despite of several non-smokers signs) was strong, and very unpleasant. Staff was very cordial and gentle.

Clear, nice. Breakfast as expected (typical French). Very good, fresh croissants. Closed parking, WiFi good enough.

Suburbs, far from the city center, but I expected it, chose this one because closer are more expensive.
