Villa Columbus Hotel and Restaurant

I’d daresay that’s the best accommodation we could find on the island! Location is 11/10 - very close to the beach and everything that Paguera offers, also fantastic access to highway, while the place is secluded and cozy. Rooms are nothing fancy, but all in all that’s only a place to sleep; you can enjoy pool in really fabulous settings while sipping cocktails of quality not found elsewhere on the island (seriously!). Very tasty breakfasts and super friendly staff ensure that your stay will be only pleasure. It’s very interesting that the restaurant doesn’t seem more popular externally because it offers great food (and these cocktails) in fantastic circumstances.

Only worthwhile to notice is that fridge in the room is optional; we didn’t realise that until we were onsite which was a bit unsettling experience, but in fact that’s mentioned in rooms description (however still, I have mixed feelings about such practices). Also, it’s quite specific that your only natural light source is entrance to your room. On the other side I slept unusually well

It was small and beautiful. Everything was so clean with basic but comfy rooms. The staff were the best I’ve seen for a long time and the food was wonderful.

There were a bit of steps but it gave the property some added cuteness. It would have been good to have had a parasol on the sunniest terraces outside the rooms as it was very hot.

Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. Rooms were very clean, and the AC worked beautifully (thank God!). Loved the breakfast buffet, especially the homemade cake. Yummy! I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. :)

There's free parking in the vicinity, but not much. So, be prepared to walk a bit.

Manager was rude at times. Based on my vegan needs and lack of breakfast items suggested I fasted as an option.....
