Sad stay. Made us regret at all staying there.

The Location only.

They put us in a first floor apartment. The loud of the Crossing cars & motorbikes was horrible we didn’t sleep at all all night. The shower was really small and we couldn’t fit in the toilet to be honest. The room was dirty . There were no amenities at all for a 3 star hotel. No flip flops , no water in the room , no toothbrush nothing. Unbelievable. I woke up in the night searching for water in the mini bar and it was empty. They did a good renovation in the reception but neglected the rest of the hotel. Parking was also extra to pay. Sad in total experience.

The windows face a busy street, so it can get a bit noisy. However, with the windows closed, it’s quiet enough for a good rest. Cleanliness – 4/5.

Great location, one room for family of 5 people

Central location, room for 5, AC, daily cleaning service, buffet breakfast. Nice lobby, seating area, able to leave luggage on departure day.

Small, single lift, requires a few trips with luggage. Shower had no door.

Slightly overpriced 2* hotel.

They had real duvets for the beds. Breakfast was actually ok. However, Greek hotels seem to always go cheap on the orange juice nowadays. They only serve orangeade.

AC didn’t cool properly. Beds were dated and lacked mattress toppers, which make you feel the springs in the bed, as in almost all Greek hotels. Shower lacked door/curtain and there was no hanger for the shower head. Not very clean. Uncomfortable bed linen.

Good location

Is good location, 10-15 min walk to shops, restaurants, fast food and suvenir shops. Taxi from Heraklion airport costs around €20 and taxes 10-15 min. The breakfast is a basic one. Staff is very very kind and helpful.

The view around the hotel and specially from some balconies (abandoned buildings, some under construction). The rooms are clean but pretty old.

Location.

Bathroom shower cubicle is too small and unenclosed resultantly water spills in the entire bathroom. Breakfast didn't have an option for omlette and was same everyday with routine stuff.

Overnight stay was due to a flight cancellation. Room was very large and very comfortable. Breakfast was okay but nothing special with staff not really clearing places.

The room was a good size and very clean. the beds and bathroom, clean and well maintained. The location is good. well within walking distance to the main square.

Only one member of staff seemed friendly. Others whilst appearing efficient they were dour almost to the point of bad manners.

Not recently renovated, but gave us a good night sleep and a yummy breakfast.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The room was so dark, even with every light on, it wasn't easy to read. The decor in the room hadn't been modernized in many years, decades, which isn't that important, but the pictures of the bright/modern lobby on booking.com are NOT a good representation of what the rooms look like .

The bed was very small for two people. It was the size of a very small couple bed. It was very uncomfortable to sleep there. The pillows were also not good. The shower alternated from extreme hot to cold in seconds, without us controlling it. So, it was not a pleasure stay.

Ok for a night over.

The room was spacious and had all the indicated facilites, including a small fridge. Bathroom and shower were good size too. Centrally located. Friendly staff, 24 hs reception. WiFi was good too.

The bed was not very comfortable and the room was not very nicely lit. We had a small balcony but it was not very tidy. We had a first floor room and we could hear all the noise from the street even very late at night which was quite uncomfortable since we had a really early flight and could not rest very well, so if you need it just for the night, try to get a room higher up. Breakfast was not very varied, but passable.

The room size was okay for a family of five.

The staff member (blue eyes)who checked us in was condescending and had a negative attitude once he saw my American passport. He claimed to have looked at my passport but clearly he didn’t since he didn’t even wish me a happy birthday. He then went on to make a comment that there would be no cleaning services daily in our room and when I said we wouldn’t need the services he said you Beverly know anything can happen like the kids breaking something. Clearly he had an issue with us as guests from the moment we stepped foot into that hotel. He had a supercilious and negative attitude and say at the desk picking food out of his mouth with a toothpick (how not professional). On top of it later that day he told us that we couldn’t all fit in the elevator. We were on the sixth floor so I walked up with my older daughter but the other three I put on the elevator. I then looked at what was written inside snd outside the elevator but I did not see anything about weight or person limits as I have seen in other elevators. Instead it said that children under 12 and in other places it said children under 14 cannot use elevstor without an adult. So this employee was okay with my kids taking the Elevator alone but wouldn’t allow us to go in together despite us fitting just fine into the elevator Together. Meanwhile I saw him not say a word to others who arrived with luggage but he didn’t tell them not to go together in the elevator with their luggage. Instead he wanted to target and harass a mother with her four underage and light weight children. I was appalled and still am with this behavior because being on the sixth floor what was I supposed to do? When I complained some other guy came out with a mustache thin snd balding who I was told was the manager but instead of apologizing he tried to defend the inappropriate behavior of the pre ious employee. I don’t know who owns the hotel but they should be embarrassed to have such an employee and such a manager and employee.
