Location was perfect very near my hospital appointment. Two chairs would have been better than one. Overall a good place which I will use again.
Omelette would have been great and cereal.

It was clean.
Didn't realise it was a religious commune, NOT a normal hotel. Had a room that had a window overlooking it. The Tv was tiny (10 inches). Only told of tea & coffee facilities, no bar available. Local area left a lot to be desired - graffiti on most buildings. Town full of students in fancy dress queueing at bars.

Great breakfast, very good value
Room a bit monastic, just a picture or two or a splash of colour might help. It's basic accommodation but great price

I liked the location and the external building and architectural aspect
I found the inside eerie and dated , I was upgraded due to a stain on the wall and the radiator in the bathroom was not working , roberto. On reception kindly arranged this

Staff were very friendly and the hall and gardens were very tranquil. Breakfast was great.
It would be nice to have a kettle in the room, but not big issue.

Mix of modern and traditional. Lovely building.breakfast was lovely. Rpom comfortable. Bit old fashioned that had to go to the kitchentte for tea and coffee in the morning. Great setting. Will stay again. Very good price.
Nothing to report.

Great breakfast. Good sized room with sofa bed. Good location.
Would have liked a small oven in the kitchenette, or a microwave

We had requested an early check-in in advance and were told that this might be possible, and that we should arrive and would be let into the rooms once they were ready. When we arrived, the rooms were not yet available, which we fully understood.
However, instead of a clear explanation or friendly communication, we were spoken to by the main reception staff member in a dismissive and confrontational manner, as if we were being told off. The attitude was unnecessarily hostile, and the lack of basic communication skills made the situation uncomfortable and unprofessional.
In addition, the rooms themselves offered only the bare minimum of comfort that could reasonably be called a hotel. The overall standard felt closer to a youth hostel than a professional hotel accommodation.
Given that we were travelling for work and arriving after a long journey, this was disappointing.
I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as a more welcoming approach from reception and improved room standards would make a significant difference to guests’ experience.

Excellent breakfast. Extremely clean hotel with a very calm peaceful atmosphere. Ample parking space and bus stop at the bottom of the drive which was very convenient for getting into Leeds center.

Lovely quiet location. Beautiful grounds. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
Room was basic for the price. Double bed small and no bedside table or lamp. Had to make tea downstairs and bring back up to room as no facilities in the room, and the nearby kitchenette had no milk (only uht sachets). Would have been nice to have some biscuits provided too.

We love staying here. The building is impressive and the location is very good for us. Clean, nice. Variable breakfast. Large on-site parking.
Nothing- good value for money.

Could have used two chairs in twin room (minor inconvenience).

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, well stocked kitchenette. Location suited me well for visiting Headingley. Good value for money.
TV very small and cracked, breakfast was not very fresh when I went down at 8.30. Was probably more enjoyable earlier in the morning.

the room was clean, half of the towels was on the bed, not in the bathroom, the grounds was quiet, was nice little ride from the town where we had our show, coffee machines in many rooms to get when you wish, little kitchenettes on different locations around the hotel to help yourself to things.
the room we was in had mould on the walls (not good for someone with asthma) and the other people around us was not quiet, when mentioned they said not much they can do about others in the hotel,

For £63 this represents fairly good value but I was in a single room. It’s clean, basic and functional, it was very warm which I loved, having stayed previously it was very cold. My boyfriend who was visiting found it way too hot but you can turn the heating down.
I didn’t like that at 11am which is the check out a guy put his key in the door and would have come in. It was 11.02 and I was five minutes away from leaving. As a lone female I found this really concerning and when my boyfriend arrived I mentioned it as it was a bit weird. A simple knock and an announcement would have sufficed, I don’t think it’s appropriate for someone to be trying to come in the room at 11.02am. I was in the process of gathering my stuff and waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up. This put off and I am not sure I would stay again.
Other considerations for those with mobility access as that not all parts of the building have lift access and it’s a slight walk from the carpark if you have a lot of stuff. However if you needed help to your room the staff would have helped.

A beautiful, historic hall (a pastoral and conference centre) and garden set back from the Otley Rd with free parking, clean, quiet student-style accommodation, a kitchenette with complimentary drink sachets and a delicious, varied breakfast served in the chapel dining room. Perfect for a night’s stay visiting a LB uni student.

Nice location. Good range of breakfast options. 24 hour access to lounge, with tea/coffee facilities. Very clean and well maintained room.
Check out was at 10am. At about 9.30am, the cleaner knocked on the door, stating that it was 'room service'.
I was in the middle of getting dressed and shouted that I was busy. However, she knocked again and said 'Room Service'.
I opened the door and when she saw me, she again said 'Room Service'. I explained that I was going to be checking out soon.
Her response to that was...'When is that? How long have you got?' I explained that I had about 30mins, as check out was at 10am.
It seemed as if there was a lack of understanding from this member of staff, as to what time check out is for guests.

We have stayed at Hinsley Hall before and have been satisfied but this time we were allocated Room 48 which we were really impressed with and would certainly like to stay in again when we visit next time.
Noisy neighbours when they came in at night but there is nothing you could have done to rectify this.

Great value, always my first choice to stay in Leeds now. Large car park on site and a wonderful base.
Pretty large room and bathroom given the type of accommodation and a super breakfast.

Excellent location, just outside the city centre. Large free car park on site, easy check in. Rooms are pretty large and breakfast is great, regularly topped up and friendly staff. This is now my first choice when staying in Leeds.

Stunning building, very clean and comfortable.
It was basic but that was all we needed.

Very unusual building. Actually a (working) convent. The grounds are nice and there is lots of wildlife around.
Location isnt central, but the bus stop to town is directly outside (and there is a pub right across the road too).
No kettles in rooms but there is a lounge downstairs where you can help yourself to drinks and a shared kitchen and ironing facilities upstairs. Breakfast was good- lots of vegan options, nice coffee. Staff were helpful/friendly. Guests were friendly too...many seem to be return visitors, often coming for the cricket. Good price.
I don't think I can fault my stay at all. I hadn't realised it was a convent, so that took me back a bit, but it had no impact on my stay whatsoever.

Beautiful building and grounds. Staff were welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, it had everything I needed for an overnight stay for a work trip. Breakfast was incredible also! Would definitely stay here again.

Good size room and bathroom, very clean and comfortable. The building is gorgeous. A very good breakfast was included in the price. The location is good as it's very well connected to the city centre, both by car and by bus. Reasonable price. Will definitely visit again.
The only thing that stopped me from giving it full marks is the fact that the WiFi was very weak in the room. Invest in some WiFi boosters and it'll all be perfect. (Please also offer some nondairy options at breakfast)
