The hotel is right in the heart of the city, easy to find and we found the car valet and check in procedures smooth and easy. A free upgrade is always welcome and our room was well appointed, very quiet and there was plenty of room for our luggage which was a nice change from having it in the way. The Lounge was comfortable, free canapes and drinks a nice touch at the end of the day before dinner. Room service was attentive and our needs were met swiftly and pleasantly. Breakfast was also great, easy to navigate, the team very helpful and cheerful and a late check out of 2pm was very handy for us.
Nothing really, just note that reception is not on the ground floor, but level 4 and it can be a bit confusing when you get out of the lift as to where to go next and finding a park out the front when you arrive on one of the busiest streets in Hobart can be a bit stressful but it works well once there.

Shower and toilet facilities small, if adults grandchildren and children were visiting there would be difficulty of sharing these facilities as in my apartment only one toilet was provided and shower could be limited for younger people as space provided was tight

Beautiful looking hotel and rooms. Loved the view and my room was extremely clean and lovely. The decor is great as is the ambience. Bed was awesome. The Club Lounge serves a GREAT breakfast and happy hour was a lot of fun.
I was upgraded to a Junior suite from Premium King Corner without being asked and which while awesome in theory, did seem like it was a bit of a downgrade, as I had paid for a room on a higher floor and that room had a hot tub, which was the main reason I booked in the first place. On arrival the tv didnt work. The room service was incredibly slow, waited 45 minutes for ice bucket and it came melted and hot food came cold. Options are very limited and overpriced. Also advertises 24 hrs and it shut at 10 pm. The workers themselves all seemed bored or waved us off a lot. Except for the one amazing young man who served us in The Club Lounge during happy hour (give the boy a raise) the service was kind of mediocre and way too slow.
