    I stayed here for two weeks; they only changed the sheets once, and the kitchen was always dirty. It’s actually a place with few rooms, quite quiet, and the location is good.

    Hanbury Lodge is a budget hotel, it doesn't pretend to be anything else. We have previously stayed here and know what it is like and have no qualms staying here. It is close to everything in Mayfield which is great. Clean but dated.

    fire alam went off 3 times during 2 day stay, once at 2am. no compensation from staff. shower door was broken and could not open any windows in room or bathroom as they did not stay open. kitchen was filthy, one oven did not work nor stove top. did not provide dishwashing liquid but expected cooking equipment to be cleaned. mostly men were staying there, but friendly enough. laundry, but additional cost.
