Ziggy's Mountain Retreat

Top two selling points about the facility is the 24 hour access to the outside pool and the location of the hotel being in a very quiet and friendly setting. The room was clean, spacious, well organized and plenty of closet space, including two night stands, king bed and a single bed accommodating 3 people.

The bathroom was on a smaller but decent size but the shower itself is tiny. Thus, the curtain keeps moving around which is not comfortable and causes the water to spray out of the shower.

Overall the accommodation was good. Clean, functional, lovely views and good location in the very attractive village of Vilaflor. Our stay was tarnished by our rude host who after not responding to phone calls and messages prior to check-in, gave us a confrontational telling off for apparently waiting in the wrong place to check-in. The lady who served us breakfast however was very pleasant, polite and professional. Perhaps she could teach her male colleague a lesson in customer service.
