La calidad humana

I loved that it was out of the chaos of the ski resort base area but only a short 10-12 minute walk to the restaurants and stores in La Massana. It’s a rustic place in an area full of expensive new-builds, but that made it charming in my book. Easy surface parking out front. Seemed like most rooms had a balcony, and the view is tremendous! Dining area has a microwave oven guests can use. Hand sanitizer and small trash can in public space on every floor. Pet friendly, and since this lodging is an independent house with a yard, pet parents didn’t have to trek out of a concrete jungle to find a place for their dog to pee.

It’s a lot for the owners to keep up, but some areas could use refurbishing, like the peeling balcony door and a hallway burned out lightbulb. Room doors are pretty thin so you hear some hallway noise. An easy update is purging the tourist information shelf of outdated trail maps and event announcements and supplying current information.

We enjoyed with the amazing views through the huge balcony, both during the night and morning.

We didn't like that we booked and paid for a king bed room, and the hotel was unable to take care of our demand. In addition, it would not be bad idea if they would change the mattresses.
