Where cozy and sophisticated meet

The hotel manager made us feel extremely welcome from the start and gave fantastic tips for where to go and what to do, with tips and services only an insider would have access to. The eggs for breakfast were fantastic, room was quiet and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also had a wonderful meal at the attached restaurant with first class service and wine. Would be very happy to visit again!

Tea and coffee station during breakfast could have been better looked after (set up was a bit complicated), the bathroom in our room was very small and the location was slightly inconvenient with large suitcases as taxis cannot directly access the premises. Be aware also that the balcony is very small, but enough to hang up your towels after the beach.

An escape to paradise

This is the most amazing hotel. Me and a friend stayed in Vis for three nights and felt as if we could have stayed for longer. The hotel was beautiful. We stayed in room 10 which is not part of the main hotel but instead part of two rooms outside and was the perfect stay. There was a seat outside the rooms great for sitting in the evenings. The courtyard is a wonderful and picturesque place to have breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the breakfast has a wide variety of dishes and the eggs were phenomenal. The staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you throughout your stay, including carrying our very heavy cases up the stairs. The courtyard is also a beautiful place to sit in the evening and have a drink. I sadly did not book the restaurant so cannot review that but would recommend as it looked very appetising. The room itself was big, with a great bathroom and great shower. The bed was very comfortable and the views from the room are amazing.

In short, it's a perfect and romantic getaway, and we can't wait to come back.

Our stay at Hotel San Giorgio was absolutely magical. The owner greeted us each morning with cappuccinos and a warm smile, making us feel like family. The staff was wonderfully friendly and gave us fantastic tips on local beaches and things to do. We were frankly excited to go back to the hotel at the end of our day(s), because we knew how incredible it was to interact with the staff. The food and wine at the hotel's restaurant were simply top-notch, and the historic charm of the building added so much character to our visit.

If we had to pick anything, the Wi-Fi in our room was a little spotty. But honestly, we barely noticed because we were too busy enjoying the moment and the beautiful surroundings. This is a place where you come to get away from emails and work.

Exceptional experience

This boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Photos cannot do it justice because the combination of location, exceptional accommodations, the combination of old ruins and modern furnishings, impeccably and tastefully arranged, topped with charlming owners - who literally wish to get you “the Moon and the stars” - is just incredible.

Two days in Bis are not enough, but with the help of Roberto and real at Jotel san Giorgio, we filled our times with gor

Roberto. He is an extraordinary man and runs the hotel and resturant with the utmost care and joy. He was incredibly welcoming , helpful, warm and genuine and witnessed him giving the same attention he gave us to every guest. He loves his island and his work and it shows. And his team made our stay so easy, welcoming us early, providing local knowledge on island activities and helping us get to and from Vus. He is a gem and a great leader too. The location right off the port was ideal too and the restaurant location at night is stunning.

The rooms are large with great light but could use a refresh in decor to match the gorgeous heritage building and Roberto's enthusiastic hospitality.

Excellent. Vis is so worth a visit.

I loved the location. And the hotel staff Tamara, Maria and Irina went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and had everything I needed. From ideas of what to see and making arrangements for me I felt so cared for. The hotel manager, Nevenka even took the time to find a yoga instructor for me and walk me to the location so I’d know where to go the next morning. Thank you all. As a solo traveler I felt very seen. ❤️🙏🏻🌟

The shower recess is relatively small so for a big person or if suffering from claustrophobia might be an issue. no doubt there are rooms with somewhat of a different arrangement.

Very beautiful & special place!!

This was by far our most charming and beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in!! Loved the location- our favourite part of Vis Town (near some great restaurants, supermarkets and bars)! About a 20 min walk to the port - gorgeous views and little shops and bars along the walk! The hosts are extremely charming and helpful - go out of their way to make your stay as awesome as they can! The buffet breakfast was superb and we definitely enjoyed a mimosa with breakfast to celebrate being on the gorgeous island of Vis!!! The hotel’s restaurant was closed for the season unfortunately but at least we had our breakfast in the charming and cute courtyard area! Everything is very clean and bed is very comfortable!! Absolutely recommend staying here if you are ever fortunate enough to stay on the peaceful and gorgeous Vis Island! We will always remember our magical 3 days on Vis Island at this extra special hotel!!!

Where to start… the hosts were lovely! The location was fantastic! The breakfast/ dining area was stunning! We absolutely loved staying and felt sad leaving. The hosts even let guests you the bikes, which ism great for short trips to the local beaches

The size of the bathroom. It was too small and not photographed online so you wouldn't have been able to see how big it was before booking it. It would have been nice if the bed sheets were changed during the week.

A Most Memorable Stay on Vis

I loved absolutely everything about this property, in fact I could have stayed longer! Every detail perfectly complimented my stay; the common areas and stunning gardens were authentic and historic, and the rooms were modern. The service from all was exemplary, and the dining was superb, with a complete and exceptional breakfast every morning, and the dinner selections, available in the garden each evening, were exquisite each of the four nights I was there. A boutique hotel that is not to be missed!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

You just have to stay here if visiting Vis. The hosts are just the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever met, they organised a boat tour for me, there’s free bikes to use and they were just always willing to have a chat and provide recommendations. The breakfast was just delicious, and being able to sit outside and eat it in the garden area was just the best start to the day. And the rooms were just so big and comfortable I really didn’t want to leave.

Excellent stay for 6 nights. Really enjoyable. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and the restaurant was excellent. Hotel is a little set back from the harbour which means the view isn't of the sea but it means it is a bit quieter when the yacht's are in the harbour.

No sea view, but as explained that comes with a disadvantage of potentially being noisier.

The property was incredibly charming from the rooms and private balconies to the communal outside lounging space. The owners were also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful regarding what to do and where to eat off- season. The breakfast was also top notch with a huge variety of food, which was all really high quality and delicious. We would definitely go back.
