Very good service, nice clean cozy rooms, comfortable beds, very convenient location- just next to ski rental, supermarket and ski lift.

Really nothing. Only a small notice- the sauna could have been opened every day, not on special request 😀

Overpriced & Poor Quality

Some friendly staff, and close to the slopes for skiing. Located in a quiet village with some nice restaurants around it.

Very poor breakfasts (so off-putting we didn't attempt dinner), a "spa" that was a couple of dark and seemingly unused rooms in the basement, and really over-priced; not a 4* hotel in any meaningful way.

Amazing location, lovely clean rooms and nice food. Not much night life in Clavier.

Great breakfast but hot eggs and bacon were always cold. The spa area is lovely and the massage chairs are amazing.

The Jacuzzi and Steam room was not warm when I used it.

Lovely quiet skiing town with access to different ski areas

The location of the hotel is very central. Access to the lifts was not far, it's right next to the shop, a bakery across the road and a coffee shop. Parking is free if parked on the road, but paid for parking is very cheap for a week!

Some of the shops closed over lunch time, so if you took a day off skiing, you couldn't do that much shopping. It would be nice if there were more stores and maybe a heated swimming pool or hot tub place if you not skiing.

Very good

Very clean and comfortable, located just next to the main street with parking available. The restaurant at the ground floor offers good meals at “mountain acceptable” price and some good beers along.

I personally went on a rainy & cold day and booked this place specifically because it offered SPA, which to my surprise was turned of due to lack of customers. As much as I understand the economic reasons, I would have booked elsewhere had I known the spa area is closed.

Exceptional

The rooms were clean, with a beautiful view, The beds were so comfy, food was delicious, staff were extra helpful and made our stay so comfortable. We kept our ski hire stuff in a luck up downstairs. The hotel Bes is a hub within Claviere, ideal location. I had health difficulties while with my son and the hotel owners couldn’t have been more helpful.

The location was fantastic and staff were brilliant. Beautiful views from the room with a lovely room.

As good as the location is, there is a church that rings it’s bells starting at 6am, then repeats the chimes about 5 mins later. Lovely to hear but a lie in without a disturbance is difficult. It would have been great if the sauna and facilities were included in the room rate as most places are, did not realise an additional fee of €15 per day was required until too late. Yes, charges for massages and treatments, fair enough but the basic facilities wasn’t what I expected at a spa hotel. Sadly next time we are in the area I will hope to find a hotel that is more inclusive as I don’t ski and there is little else to do in the winter.

Pour une étape, sans plus à cette saison,...peut-être plus agréable sous la neige...

Aimé? Pas vraiment... Station d’hiver en période de transition et de "redépart" d’été. On remplissait les frigos en bricolant. Bon accueil assez froid (lui), prestations de petit déjeuner élémentaires sans plus mais assez bon choix de produits, pas de bière fraîche au bar et pas de restaurant. (Un seul ouvert, à l’opposé du village, très bonne table et vin de très bonne qualité avec le sourire en prime) Emplacement sécurisé pour la moto avec caméra.

Le descriptif de booking qui était trop élogieux pour la réalité .
