Hotel International Brno

I liked the location, the spacious lobby, and the excellent reception by the hotel staff. I also liked the variety and quality of the breakfast.

I didn't like the executive lounge; it was very basic. It offered neither snacks nor beer, featuring only a coffee machine and a small fridge stocked with a limited selection of drinks. Even the water in the fridge wasn't cold.

We stayed two nights our wedding, the staff kindly upgraded our room free of charge, a very generous welcome. The breakfast offered a wide selection of choices, the room was quiet, with comfortable bed.

Perfect location, wonderful and helpful staff, clean room, great breakfast, parking in the hotel garage.

sofa bed could have been flexible

There was a heat wave and the air conditioning was a bonus. Good location with regard to historical monuments. There's a bit of decent shopping around it. I enjoyed the breakfast. The front of house staff were nice, knew English wonderfully so, and were accommodating. The parking for the hotel was very good. Towels were fluffy. Felt safe as the key card did not give you access to alternate floors.

Elevators seem a bit dated. T.V. options dated and no real hook-ups. You can't log-in to any services and it is kinda small. The absolute worst are the bathrooms - there's a curtain - but the shower is see through. So, if you are in mixed company - with a child, a parent, work colleague, etc. - nope. They are going to see you showering. They could leave like room enough for a bottle water or coke in the fridge for you. The minibar fills it completely. So, if you choose to stay here, put the request in that they empty the mini bar so you can actually use the mini-fridge. Beds were of average comfort, but mattresses did seem a bit dated.
