only thing was maybe that you hear quite a lot what is going on in the corridor, if you have noisy neighbors.

The room was clean and spacious. Lovely high ceilings and large window. The desk was useful and the wifi worked well. Greeting at reception was friendly. Hot and cold drinks and cake available all day but i was not there long enough to take them up on this but it is a valuable amenity.

Only one pillow on the double bed and no headboard was uncomfortable. The eggs were overcooked and burnt at the bottome. The coffee machine did not seem to be working (not possible to get cafe au lait). Banana cookies were burnt and chewy. Cakes, meat and cheese looked good. Satsuma and croissant were nice.

The best possible stay in Grenoble

The property is very comfortable and super welcoming. Reception staff made us feel at home straight away. you have food and cold and hot beverage free of charge at any time near the breakfast area. Rooms are simple but nicely furnished and beds are very comfortable. But.. what deserve a 10 out of 10 is the breakfast. This quality is rarely found even in 5 stars hotels. The buffet breakfast is of super high interest.

It’s hard to park your car in the vicinity of the hotel. But a stay at the 1924 is worth every minutes spent looking for a spot.

Excellent value for money with good proximity to town center and train station.

Breakfast was excellent. Loved all the regional books available in the reception area. Room was comfortable and good value for money. Location was closer to the train station than we normally select but still far enough away to not have 'backpacker' vibe.

Great little find

Great location - easy walk from station and into old town. Great communal sitting area. Free drinks and cake all day. Very good breakfast.

Wet room style bathroom just made the floor very slippery. Everything else was fine, but no luxury!

Quality accommodation.

Modern but tasteful. Good location for trams and trains. Excellent breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. No coffee / tea in room but a very pleasant area in reception to sit and take advantage of free drinks, cake and sweets.

Key very stiff with a knack to opening the door. Need to let us know.

A couple of major flaws but overall a really nice hotel and great staff

A beautiful conversion of a great old building. Interesting touches with furniture and paintings. Good location and a great bar across the road! Really nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

Lack of air con in rooms when it’s 32 degrees is a massive issue. The hotel is on the corner of a busy road with trams starting at 4.30am so impossible to sleep with windows open. Lack of sleep is not ideal on holiday! The wet room/shower set up was a death trap!

We had a wonderful stay at 1924 Hotel and would love to return. We'd recommend it to anyone!

The breakfast was wonderfully delicious and varied. We appreciated the homemade snacks, fruits, and coffee machine available all day. The desk staff were charming, personable, and very helpful. They made us feel completely at home.

The shower in our room could have used a curtain to keep water from wetting the bathroom floor. And a few more hooks and shelves for toiletries, and to hang damp towels.
