Turiddu B&B

Great location near the center of Catania. The room has everything you need and is clean. Our room had a beautiful view of Etna from the balcony. You can park for free near the hotel. The host was very nice

The building is a bit like a Soviet research institute (НИИ) 😂 The room could use a light renovation. Breakfast was quite basic - mostly just sweets.

Comfortable room with a balcony giving a great view of Mt Etna. Clean bathroom and bedroom. Simple, pleasant breakfast with good coffee.

The neighborhood of the hotel is close to the bus depot and a 10 minute walk from the tourist areas but is otherwise not specifically inviting.

Clean room, nice breakfast (if you like eating sweet things for breakfast).

- No window view to Etna, only to a loud construction site. (at least in my case) - They could have put on fly nets on the windows. They are not expensive or difficult to put on. Quite a few mosquitos came in, and I heard other people complaining about it as well. - They could have given us more smaller sized pillows. - No savory breakfast. I know in Italy they eat sweet things for breakfast but I still missed to have some savoury options. - Old TV with very few English channels. Most places buy the cheapest smart TVs so you can at least use Netflix on them. - Filthy neighbourhood. Make sure you don't walk around alone, and wear strong thick shoes so the glass pieces on the ground can't hurt you. (I didn’t make the review all in all so bad because this is not something they can do anything about.)
