    I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment I checked in. I've traveled in Asia for the last 20 years and this was one of the cleanest hotels I've been in. The rooms were large and as pictured. The shower had hot water and strong pressure, even on the top floor, The lunch and dinner menu was great and priced well. I would have loved a buffet style breakfast, but they only serve set menu in the morning...however, there were a lot of options that would suit most travelers. And the portions are large. It's right in the heart of Kathmandu, right near one of the main City Squares. Overall, excellent value for the price, and very attentive and helpful staff. I would definitely book it again next time I'm back in Kathmandu. Thank you Hotel Timila for a great stay!

    I love staying here each year as it's close to Patan Durbar Square, it's clean and modern, and has a nice garden in the back to escape the street noise.

    Really loved the room, very cosy and clean. Could blot the doors from the inside, so felt safe. Had hot running shower and the hotel staff was kindly able to get my laundry done by the next day.
