The perfect getaway

Excellent location right in the centre of the village with private parking at the side of the building. Lovely view from the sitting room window of the street. Property was spotlessly clean and with many finishing touches that made it feel more like a home than a rental property. Both bedrooms were en-suite as well as having a smaller toilet upstairs which was really handy. Property was extremely well kitted out with everything you need and more for self-catering, and the photos really don’t do it justice.

Wonderful location!

Location, location, location! Right up the street from the Grassington village square and the Stripey Badger Cafe and Robert Bunny Countrywear. Close to the car park for the river. A short drive to Malham Cove. We'll be returning for certain.

Could use some fans for air circulation as we were there for one of the heat waves that impacted the Dales during the summer.

The best place to stay in Grassington.

Rose Cottage is the perfect place to stay in the lovely Grassington. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. The property is a house that has two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor and a very spacious open plan living area on the first floor. All facilities are of an excellent standard and the hosts have ensured all necessary equipment and household items are present. Parking is right next to the house and is a good size - this is a rarity in Grassington and was much appreciated.

A perfect, very comfortable property in the heart of the prettiest village in the Dales.

The property is perfectly situated on the Main Street of Grassington, with off street parking for the two couples in our party. It has a quirky but very effective upside down layout which maximises the living space. Bedrooms were cosy and beds very comfortable. The upstairs toilet and wash hand basin was so useful. Quiet at night, other than the local church clock which really isn’t intrusive, the handiness of shops, bars and restaurants was exceptional.

Hmm, hard to think of anything! Maybe the stairs after a long walk on the Dales Way!

Wonderful Place.

No logs provided. The heating is amazing and probably doesn't need the log burner at all however it would have been nice to put the fire on .Towel radiators in both bathrooms not working.

Lovely, well equipped cottage

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The upside-down nature gave a good view of the village from the living room. There was also lots of information regarding places to eat and things to do during our stay. We would love to return.

We had a fabulous stay in a fabulous property in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Loved everything.

1. The property was better and larger than it seemed on the website and it was VERY clean, fresh and tidy. 2. Sometimes when visiting self catering properties you have to do an initial shop for essentials such as toilet paper and dish washing liquid etc. This property was fully stocked and just ready to live in. 3. The location could not have been better. 4. Good secure storage for bikes. 5. The host took the time to check in with us to see if there was anything else we needed, not that there was.

beds very soft... 3 piece suite and one chair. Not very comfy and could have done with 2 chairs and smaller suite or 4 chairs
