Mermaid Cottage

Loved the central location of the property with easy access to all of Whitby’s amenities. The apt was comfortable, well equipped, spacious and quiet. Just perfect 😁

The facilities were very good. There was everything thought of in the kitchen that you might need, and a lovely welcoming touch of a bottle of wine, and the parking permit was extremely helpful and very accessible.I was surprised there was no dishwasher but only because of the high spec of the kitchen. It was still amazing. The bed was very comfortable as was the loung area. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely return. The location was perfect, and very quiet, although central to everything. The whole place was very clean and spacious.

It was very difficult to get out of the bath due to there being very little on the wall side to push yourself up with, and the handles were not in the right place to help. It would be helpful to say that the fridge is not switched on, or it be switched on before occupancy, as it took time to get to temperature once we realised it wasn't on, and we had brought quite amount of food with us that needed to be kept cool. These are the only two things, as overall it was a fantastic stay. Thank you.

Close to the harbour, quiet, cosy apartment

Bed a little soft but still comfy. Tea / coffee sachets would have been lovely. The wine was well received however

Great location

Extremely difficult to unload car. There for 3 minutes and received abuse and threatening behaviour from local resident in car who swore at us and told us to move car immediately. Shower tiny and dated. Didn’t realise no WiFi as thought standard- stayed in many cottages/apartments before. Poor choice of tv channels.
