Peter is a fantastic host, nothing too much trouble. The room was excellent, cold water available from a fridge outside the room and a lovely continental breakfast - croissants straight from the oven! I was hiking the Herriot Way and this is an excellent stopping point. Dinner available at a nearby hotel.

I booked this property the day before and day of my wedding and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Pete’s attentiveness and friendliness was above and beyond, from delicious breakfast, beautiful comfy rooms and stunning views it was worth every penny. Thanks Pete for everything and I highly recommend if you stay here you won’t regret it :)

Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
Spacious room, well furnished. Restful, quiet. Great stand-alone bath with plenty of hot water. Local soap, nice touch. Lovely hosts with local knowledge and concerned to ensure our needs were met. Room upgrade on first night greatly appreciated. Had considered staying at Aysgarth Falls hotel but preferred this, no pub or building site noise and a huge room.
Nothing although apologies for spraying the bedroom with the shower hose whilst I worked out the bath taps!

A perfect location and peaceful.
What a lovely comfortable clean accommodation. Pete's attention to detail is wonderful. Everything in the room was fresh, bright and clean. The cold bottled water and fresh milk in the cooler was a bonus. We didn't have the breakfast but it did smell delightful
We found the the exit back onto the main road a little scary as we couldn't see either way very far due to the fact the exit was on a bend and the traffic was, at times, fast. It would be useful to have one of those concave mirrors on the other side of the road opposite the exit, Just for safety.
