About this house rental
The Vivenda da Esquina is a great villa located in a residential area, just above the beach of Garajau, on the hillside, boasting breathtaking views of the vast Atlantic.
The house consisting of 200 m² is incredibly spacious, comprising of three bedrooms (2 double rooms and 1 twin room), open space living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and breakfast bar. Wide patio doors leading to the terrace and pool, allow for maximum light in the living room.
Please note: At present there is a construction site in the surrounding areas. When booking, you are aware of this and agree to proceed with the respective booking.
Madeira is a thriving destination with ongoing tourism and real estate development, enhancing the island's charm and amenities. Please note that some construction works may occur during your stay. These activities are not related to our properties and are part of the island’s broader growth. We appreciate your understanding and are confident that your stay will be delightful despite any potential minor inconveniences.
There is also a separate living area, allowing for some personal relaxation time, reading, or playing a game of billiards. This too leads directly to the swimming pool. This one can be heated with an additional cost & minimum of 5 nights.
The outdoor area extends over several levels. The terrace is equipped with a large table and chairs, as well as sunbeds. It is the perfect place to sit together in the evening, with a glass of wine, while enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding area with its stunning views. There is also a garage with availability for 2 cars.
The Vivenda da Esquina, located in Santa Cruz, is subject to the tourist tax (eco taxa).
This is 2€ per day, per person from 13 years old and over , up to 7 days.

Maison très bien située , avec une superbe vue sur l océan .dans un quartier résidentiel calme.Proche de Funchal , de l aéroport,des visites, des supermarchés, des restaurants...
La maison est agréable et spacieuse, 4 chambres dont une en sous sol ( nickel pour les ado mais pas pour jeunes enfants). Cuisine fonctionnelle très bien équipée, lave vaisselle et lave linge. Plusieurs salles de bain et toilettes.Piscine chauffée idéale( en avril) pour la fin de journée après les visites.jardin et grand garage(mais nous ne l'avons pas utilisé)
Rajouter des chaises pour manger à l intérieur et manque table et chaises à l extérieur ( plusieurs étaient cassées) pour déjeuner ...dommage car la vue est top.
L eau chaude pour les douches car le matin, nous avions juste un filet d eau tiède.

The view was great! The size was generous. Very comfortable beds.
The furniture in living room was too sparse and not comfortable at all. The furniture outdoors was plentiful but not comfortable. At least one chair was cracked. None of my questions were responded to—neither on Airbnb nor by email.

We stayed at Vivenda da Esquina for 1 week recently. Everything was very good about it especially the spectacular panoramic sea view.
We did find the immediate neighbourhood quite noisy however. There is building work going on across the road on another property and we heard dogs barking through the night and a cockerel crowing from 5am each morning. Overall very good but remember to pack ear plugs!

Dies Haus liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig aber dennoch ruhig und ist sehr geräumig. Der große Außenpool und die sehr schöne Aussicht sind perfekt. Dazu ein bunter und gepflegter Garten rundet das schöne Gesamtbild ab. Nutzung der vorhanden Garage mit direkten Hauszugang ist ebenfalls möglich. Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die Möbel sind teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und weisen Gebrauchsspuren auf.
