Riverside House

This is a quaint cottage with stairs to the bedroom which we were happy but may not suit other guests. We liked the comfortable sitting area with fridge, microwave and toaster (and TV) We enjoyed sitting by the river and the tranquility.

Small, interesting, historical cottage, handily place to get to some interesting places. Lovely hosts, cottage very clean. Garden runs down to River Wensum, absolutely beautiful.

It was so clean and exceptionally comfortable!! The outside private space was just what I needed after visiting a relative in community hospital.

It should be noted that Hatties Cottage is not suitable for people with mobility problems as very steep stairs to bedroom.Also doorways are very low so have to duck if over 5ft 10 Settee needs replacing very low and uncomfortable. Local.pub doesn't sell food only chip van. Also if you are a fisherman the river at bottom of garden full of reeds,so not suitable. For the reasons above wouldn't stay again especially when I booked it advertised Riverside cottage which I thought I was staying in as all on one level. Instead we were in Hatties Cottage very old & dark.
