We spent 3 nights at the property. It is well situated for easy access to neighbouring towns especially Carmarthen approximately 7 miles away and, which is well appointed with shops, drinking and eating establishments and with many retail outlets nearby. There are several attractions in the area which we were not able to take advantage of because of time. Kidwelly is a short trip (go to The Old Moathouse for excellent tapas - it is right next to the castle) and Tenby a bit further but well worth the visit. There is also a National Trust property at Dinefwr within driving distance and the must-see Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mine. The property itself has everything you could wish for a short stay including a well appointed kitchen and bathroom, comfortable lounge with an excellent TV, and two bedrooms. Heather, the host, has ensured that there is plenty of information about the area available and left a helpful welcome note. The wifi worked perfectly. Everything was clean and tidy. At the front there is a single parking space which was more than adequate for one vehicle whilst at the back there is a garden with extensive countryside views. Access to the property was via a key in a lockbox. Excellent instructions on gaining access and, subsequently, leaving were provided. Heather is a pleasant host who had first class communication with us both before and during our stay.

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location to explore both the Gower and Pembrokeshire. The rooms are perfect in size and we loved our stay.
Heather was very helpful and when we asked for the heating to be put on the same day. Will definitely be back

Lovely place with a working fireplace and garden. Only word of caution is that the bathroom floor is very slippery so walk carefully—one of us fell the first day.

the cottage itself was very nice but for a partially disabled person I found it cold and uncomfortable. the sofa was far to low and the chairs extremely hard even using a cushion.

Nice house but as it was September it was getting a bit cold and damp. Time for the heating to be turned on.
The television woke us up one night, it turned itself on.
Maybe it is worth having a look at it.

Welsh bungalow
very nice bungalow but situated next to a busy (during the day) road and a lane - lovely views, cosy beds, ok walks up steep hills. Close enough to the National Botanical Garden of Wales which is huge and beautiful (we got a weekly ticket and went 3 times). TV worked well and the sofa was comfy to relax after hard days walking - bath was wonderful too.

short 5 night break in carmthenshire
myself and three friends arranged a last minute golf break in the area... We found the cottage to be exactly as advertised.. clean and quaint.. sleeping arrangements were not ideal for our group but we knew this before we went..1 double room ,1 single and a sofa bed , but the facilities advertised could not be faulted, decent size rooms for such a small property comfy beds , good shower with constant hot water, and a small but fully equiped kitchen ..lovely views from rear of property which is set in a small and quite remote village. Due to covid restrictions we did not have much contact with the owner Heather, but she was most helpful and pleasant to deal with... All in all this cottage was fantastic value for money and we had a great time ... thank you Heather

Gwendraeth View Cottage
Really liked the cottage and the lovely garden. The cottage was well equipped, warm and homely. Our only criticism (we are in our 60s!) Was the settee was low down & my husband found it difficult to get comfy as he has MS. Aside from that it was lovely and I was reluctant to leave.

Stayed for 6 nights with my husband, daughter and grandson. The cottage was very well situated for visits to local attractions and in a very quiet, pretty location. Highly recommended.

Perfect cosy hideaway
Stayed here with a friend and our dogs for a long weekend in the countryside. It was a great base for exploring the local area and Heather the owner left us some fab tips for places to take the dogs. The cottage was really clean when we arrived and a checklist of Covid cleaning requirements had been left so we were happy in the knowledge everything was well sanitised and safe for our store. A lovely holiday was had by all and we would definitely recommend to others!

Mum and Daughter Break
Lovely week, everything we needed. Great position, amazing scenery, lots of places to go. We were lucky to have good weather, only 1 rainy day. Great to have a DVD player, binge watched The Hunger Games in comfort. 👍The only downside would be that if you take a dog , the garden is across a small road and they always need to be on a lead for safety. If you go dog less, it’s perfect, would definitely recommend.
Owners were lovely and just across the road for any problems, if needed . Carmarthen for big supermarkets, only about 6miles away. Great holiday 😁

200yr old Welsh cottage near perfect for our 2 night stay
Cottage was clean and tastefully presented with everything we needed to sleep and eat. We washed our clothes after 2 weeks on the go. Central heating was also really nice! Only downside was that internet access as advertised was not available. But we got by using my phone as a hotspot. The welcome pack of firewood, milk and welsh cakes was really thoughtful. Never needed to disturb Heather for anything, so thankyou.

Quaint little cottage which was kept clean and comfortable by the friendly, helpful owner
We had good weather and visited many places.
We chose the cottage for location as I needed to be only a short journey to Carmarthen hospital to access holiday haemodialysis.

A good sized property with a quaint little balcony that was great when we got back with the dog - despite some rain and even snow was able to enjoy the area and was comfortably warm when we returned each day from a day out
