Bed & Wine Rocco Zambri

**A hidden gem in one of Italy's most beautiful villages** We arrived in Bovino after a spectacular drive up through the mountains and were welcomed immediately by Rocco and his wonderful little daughter Gioia, whose English was impressive enough to help us sort out all the practicalities with a smile. The room was very pleasant, spotlessly clean and well equipped — and the air conditioning was quite simply the best we experienced during our entire trip through Puglia! What really sets this place apart is Rocco himself. With a warmth and trust that is rare anywhere in the world, he showed us to his little cantina and told us to help ourselves to anything we wanted — including glasses of his own beautiful wine. That kind of generosity and genuine hospitality is something you simply don't find everywhere. Rocco's local knowledge was invaluable too — his restaurant recommendations led us to equally wonderful evenings with equally warm and welcoming people. We enjoyed a glass of his wine before strolling into the village — just a short walk away — and returned with full hearts. Leaving the following morning with heavy hearts was the only downside. If we are fortunate enough to return to Bovino, we would go straight back to Rocco without a second thought. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Dougie and Alli - Scotland 😊

Super netter Gastgeber, der mit uns spontan eine tolle Weinverkostung gemacht hat. Durch die Lage am Rand des Ortes sehr ruhig. Sehr sauberes Zimmer und Bad.

A due passi dal paese, ma nella pace della campagna! Si sente solo il cinguettio degli uccellini. Struttura pulita, davvero piacevole sedersi sulla veranda per bere un caffè! In più abbiamo fatto piacevolmente amicizia con una gattina molto affettuosa ❤️

geen ontbijt gehad. ik kon naar een lokale bar gaan om te ontbijten die heb ik niet gevonden

douche kraan lekte, er was geen wc papier in de kamer, ik miste een beker of glas om water te kunnen drinken, bed was matig (laken lag los op het matras) als ik de deur open had staan kwamen er steeds jonge poesjes in mijn kamer
