We had a nice stay at this department, everything was as written and shown on the photos. Some bakeries and a shop to buy foodstuff is close. Makarska is really nice and there are so many nice beaches also up to Split(Duce was a favorite, just beside the road) or south on the way to Dubrovnik. There is another beach close to the "old Town" which also was very nice. The department is a bit uphil, but only a 10 minute walk from the beach. There are trees along the beach for the ones that like some shadow. So no need to pay for "Sun umbrella".

1. Very large balcony; almost larger than the apartment itself. Provided both the privacy and good shelter from the sun, wind or rain. 2. Our apartment had a proper single bed for the third person (in addition to wide double bed and couch). 3. Due the architecture it had very good natural ventilation. Door-window system to the balcony included also the mosquito net. As it had to doors to balcony on different walls, then we did not even use air condition although the night temperature was around 25C and daytime was between 30-35. 4. Very nice hosts. 5. Normal size parking place suitable for a larger car. 6. Very nice view from the balcony - both the sea and mountains.

Due the considerable elevation from the seaside the apartment might not be suitable for those with health issues unless you plan to use a car to get to the desired location. Of course, that means, that you can eat everything you want at the seaside restaurants, because there is no problem getting your daily dose of elevation meters and steps and burn enough calories.
