Aris Athens Suites

It is a beautiful apartment, located very close to acropolis and plenty of restaurant options, all walkable distance! It was very clean and also the host provides a book with suggestions on things to see, do and eat! We were able to contact the host easily who was extremely helpful and kind. The check in process was super easy! It has a full kitchen so you are able to cook your own food which is really helpful. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

The apartment was nice and clean, and the location was convenient.

For a one-night stay, I had to contact Booking.com customer service twice to resolve issues that should not normally require third-party intervention. Firstly, after arriving in Greece, we received a message saying that bed linen and towels were not included and that we were expected to pay additional 8 € per person. This extra cost was not clearly stated before booking, and no price was provided in the listing. I have booked accommodation many times through Booking.com and other platforms, and whenever linen or towels were charged separately, this was always clearly explained in advance together with the exact amount. The fee was finally waived after I contacted Booking.com support, who confirmed that such charges should be clearly communicated before reservation. However, the host's responses repeatedly implied that I had simply failed to check the listing properly, rather than acknowledging that the information was unclear. In addition, obtaining an invoice took approximately one and half weeks and required multiple reminders and final help of Booking.com support. Eventhough the apartment was fine, the lack of transparency and overall communication left a disappointing impression. I would recommend future guests to confirm all possible extra costs in advance (which is not always possible, as Booking.com does not allow guests to contact the property before booking)

The location was perfect as it is walking distance to many local attractions check in was simple and the place was clean.

We were given only 2 days of private parking and had to either pay extra for another private parking 5 mins away or park in the street which is a nightmare to find, the light bulb in the bedroom was very dim and changed the next day for a brighter one, mattress and pillow weren't comfortable at all and ended up waking with a sore back and neck, had an issue with the bedroom ac leaking a lot of water which was sorted out the next day, also the staff enters the apartment when you are not there they removed new closee bottles of water out of the fridge because we chose to freeze them for our long drives since it was hot and placed them on the kitchen bench had to write a do not disturb sign twice as the first one was removed by one of the staff had to lock up all our belongings every time we stepped out which is an absolute inconvenience, Other guests shouting and banging during the night If you are one for privacy then this is not the place for you which is a big shame if they improved the place has some really good potential.
